One of the things I’m most proud of as a wedding planner is that 75% of my business comes from referrals by past couples and their families. It means so much to me. When former clients and vendors trust me enough to refer their loved ones, it speaks volumes. I set a high bar to ensure I never let them down. My biggest advice? Whether you hire a planner or not, research your vendors, get referrals, and trust those who truly care. Your wedding deserves the best.

Every wedding is special to me. I’m honored to plan with my couples and be their biggest advocate on their big day. This past weekend was a full-circle moment—the brother of a former bride got married, and the ring bearer was the baby of his sister & brother-in-law…a couple I worked with in 2021 and sent down the aisle! Seeing my couples get married and then have babies is such a joy. I’m blessed to support wonderful families long after their wedding day.

While writing this, I’m currently designing a baby shower for a 2022 Endearing Events couple, and it reminds me of planning her wedding while I was pregnant with my daughter. These moments humble me and remind me how grateful I am for this incredible career and the amazing families I meet. Thank you for allowing me to share your special moments with you! I am so grateful and proud. 🤍🎀🥹

Preparing for wedding number one of our season this Saturday! We have over two dozen events this summer, ranging from baby showers to bridal showers and weddings with guest lists which vary from 200 guests to 700! If you’d love to be a part of our wonderful team, we have two open positions for Wedding Day Assistants. This position requires Saturday availability (mainly afternoons/early evenings) and applicants must be located in the Youngstown region. Once upon a time, I was antiquing and I came across an old popcorn cart that was greasy and black. I was able to see through the current appearance and visualized what I could make that greasy popcorn cart out to be. So, I bought it. I hauled this popcorn cart down the streets of little Columbiana and shoved it into the back of my SUV. Much to his delight (😅) I grabbed my husband when I came home & showed him what I had found. After some scrubbing with soap and painting that little babe, the popcorn cart turned into into the most unique cake stand!

I incorporated my little popcorn cake stand into an upcoming styled shoot featuring one of my then-couples and a team of my friends who are also vendors. We had a wonderful summer day, hanging out, laughing and capturing this beautiful couple! At the end, we cut the most delicious cake that graced my cake stand and celebrated friendship, the beauty of life, and hard work. It was a wonderful time.

When that was said and done, I gave away my popcorn cake stand to a new wedding venue that was opening. I hope it brought a smile to someone else’s face the way it brought one to mine, that May day when I shoved her into the back of my car 🤗

With so many options of gorgeous shoes for your wedding day, how do you decide on the perfect pair? We believe in following these special tips:

▫️Say yes to your dress first and allow the style of your dress to aid in the direction of your shoe choice

▫️Decide what type of shoe is best for you - heel, flat, sneaker, or a mix

▫️Consider your ceremony, reception and bridal photo locations

▫️Prioritize comfort. After all, your wedding day will likely be over twelve hours and getting blisters early on will not be your fav memory 😳

▫️Consider a secondary pair for dancing and any late night festivities. These can be a fun pair of sneakers or flats that allow you to move around and relax your feet after a long day

▫️Lastly, no matter what, stay true to your style and what stands out to you - and ultimately, you won’t go wrong.

Jessica and John hired our wedding planning services for production and oversight of their wedding day details, master timeline, and wedding day logistics. We worked with their chosen vendors to ensure everyone was running from the same timeline, and to triple check that no stone was left unturned. While living in North Carolina, the couple had a peace of mind knowing a local, seasoned professional was handling all of the details, which can truly impact the success of their wedding day!

They were able to enjoy their wedding planning and of course, their big day (and so were mom and dad!) To be able to say that is a true luxury all by itself!

Cheers to FIVE years! 🫶🏼

I am so excited to celebrate five years of Endearing Events! Looking back to the beginning, if you would’ve asked me in early 2018 where I saw this business in five years, where I am now would’ve been only a dream.

Thank you to every single person who has believed in my passion and dream as much as I have! I consider myself beyond blessed to have the opportunity to work with such beautiful couples and vendors every single day. I am a living testimony that the saying is true, “love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

I planned, designed and hosted this sweet adoption shower in Poland, Ohio. The theme was “Over The Moon” with golden yellow, soft pink, and orange hues to tie in the autumn season. I made sure to tie it together with a dress code for attendees, and the guest of honor was in a coordinating color. There are many details that go into making sure your event is planned, designed and executed properly. Work with a professional to ensure nothing goes overlooked, because as you likely know, there aren’t chances for a re-do.

Newly engaged? You may not know this yet, but it’s really important to have someone there the day of your wedding to serve as your advocate and logistical leader. Someone who can take care of the last minute hiccups, making sure vendors arrive on time, that the bride and groom actually eat and drink plenty of water before the ceremony (harder than you think), overseeing setup and ensuring every centerpiece is perfect, helping you stick to your timeline (so important!) assisting guests with finding their way around the venue, triple checking that your bridal party knows where to go, and so much more! This person certainly shouldn't be you...or your mom. We’re currently booking 2024 weddings and would love to chat with you about how we can make your wedding day absolutely perfect. You’ll thank yourself later.
