Presented by the Petersen Automotive Museum, it will showcase some of the most memorable award winners, including the very first AMBR winner, the 1950 Niekamp Roadster. Built in 1949 by Bill Niekamp, this hot rod features parts from a 1927 Essex powered by a 1942 Mercury V-8 engine. It achieved an impressive speed of 142 mph at El Mirage in 1952.
