Check out this website on rents below. This is why people need salary increases. When wealthy property owners stop their greed, people can afford the rent. This is a vicious circle and a no-win situation. People want to own, but since they can not afford these prices demanded today, they still pay mortgage prices to rent. Rents need to go down, home prices need to go down, and then people can get off the streets living homeless and get back on their feet. This world can be a better place if everyone works together.
