Today we visited our number one fan and dancer. While Barbara cant come to the band right now, we took the band to Barbara and what fun we had. There was a packed house of foot tapping, hand clapping, smiling people. It was great seeing our friend again, too. Hurry back Barbara...you are missed.

Horrible rain and flooding this evening. Thanks to those who made it and to those who tried but their cars floated off in a different direction. We love our bandmates and fans but safety first. We will be here next Tuesday as we ready for Thanksgiving. Come and join us.

We are rehearsing for a couple of shows and what fun we are having. Lois brought a friend...he is sitting next to her...plays drums. Ha. You may have heard Spanx was sold. The farewell mega event begins this weekend with a Halloween costume contest on Saturday. Trunk or Treat starts at 6 pm Halloween in the Spanx The Hog BBQ parking lot. Costumes, food and fun. We will be there entertaining...ps a hint..some of us will be dress as musicians. The party moves inside at 9 and continues until?? Wear your costume, bring a friend, meet the new owners and pass along good wishes for Donna and Spanky. See ya Tuesday!!

Its been a rough couple of weeks... As you may know, our singer Maddie fell and is recovering in rehab with a broken hip. Then we found out our favorite fan and band dancer, Barbara, is having mobility issues and is also in rehab recovering. Please keep both of these ladies in your thoughts and prayers. They are missed.

What a nice evening we had at Spanx The Hog BBQ. One of our waitresses had a birthday (cake for all!!) And we had a visitor from Springfield, Ohio. The famous multi-talented Doc Cain of banjo fame sat in with us. It was such a treat. Come back any time!!
