Facebook just asked what's on my mind..well I'll tell you..what a great evening at Spanx The Hog BBQ & Saloon, Pompano Beach with some of the best Dixieland music in Broward County!! All our traveling band members were back and as a bonus master banjoist Mike Vignola was visiting from N Carolina and sat in. It was non-stop fun. Join us Tuesdays 630-800..dinner and music!! By the way, there will be a special treat for our audience next week..a surprise you won't want to miss!!

It is with extreme sadness to announce the passing of our Coney Island Washboard star Magdaline Minihan. She was called home on January 23, 2025 at the age of 93. Over the past year or so Magdaline had been fighting the slowdown of age and had performed with the band when she was able. No matter her circumstances she always brought her smile and positive cheerfulness (and her iconic red hat). One of her favorite songs was 'You Are My Sunshine' that she would sing with joy and enthusiasm. Magdaline, you ARE our Sunshine and you will be missed.

We love the holidays especially when the band gathers for food, fun, and friendship. Tonight we celebrated each other at our annual Christmas party at Spanx The Hog BBQ & Saloon, Pompano Beach . Our special guests were our songbird Maddie and our favorite fan Barbara. Both warmed our hearts by joining us this evening. We will be playing Christmas and New Years eves so come and join us. 147 S Cypress Rd, Pompano Beach. 630-800. Reservations suggested.
