Our dressing room is minimally decorated to keep you center-stage during final dress adjustments. The full-length brass mirror, with its elegant yet subtle arch, beautifully reflects light throughout the room and onto all of your details. Opposite the mirror are French doors that open to the bedroom, providing a space for a fun first look. Well, hello, sunshine! ☀️
What a gorgeous day in CNY! Today is a cleaning day at “The Ridge” for my mom (my go-to helper) and me (Melissa), and it’s so refreshing to open the windows and let the fresh air in as we tidy up and chat. We had a wonderful family stay in the farmhouse last week, and we’re prepping for a couple’s arrival later this week. The spacious five-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath farmhouse is available to rent on Airbnb between weddings and events.
Pictured here is our great room with ash beams sawed by my husband from trees on our farm. We believe a small part of the existing space served as the kitchen and in the 1800s looked like a simple shed attached to the main house. Now, with a nine-foot farmhouse table, 5-inch wide white oak hardwood floors, a couch with seating area, and kitchen, families and bridal parties can comfortably gather and enjoy each other's company while prepping for the day in one expansive, beautiful space.

Welcome to Central New York's newest "wedding weekend" venue!
We began work on the 1800s farmhouse and property in 2019, always hoping to host weddings on-site. It was a dream come true when we were able to host our children’s weddings last summer. Now with the opportunity to invite others to enjoy the farmstead, well, we’re thrilled that all of the hard work of family and friends has led us here to this adventure and the great honor it will be to be a part of the lives of couples who value marriage and the celebration of that commitment. The barn's interior once housed hay wagons, old tractors, an antique car, and a random triceratops toy (which my kids still play with!), among many other things. Now, the interior is open and spacious with polished concrete floors, ten french doors, a designated bar, and three large chandeliers—the largest is 63 inches in diameter! The barn, at 4,800 square feet, comfortably seats up to 250 people with a dance floor.
Six french doors open to the westward-facing portico under which guests can mingle, enjoy cocktails and view our magnificent sunsets. In addition, each french door at the north and south ends, along with a traditional sliding barn door, provide ample light, airflow, and access. The barn also has industrial-style ceiling fans for added cooling as you dance the night away. 💃🕺

Our bridal suite with private bath is bright, spacious, and neutral. A separate dressing room with an indulgent, oversized mirror provides a clean backdrop for capturing your getting-ready photos.
The “parlor” is across the hall from the master and, with its even natural light, offers an additional room for your bridesmaids to gather and prep their makeup. In addition, the house offers plenty of space to stretch out with four large bedrooms and two full baths upstairs, and a half bath and expansive great room with a 9-foot-long farmhouse table. We think you’ll enjoy every inch of The Ridge as you prepare for your special day!

After we purchased the property in the spring of 2019, we began clearing out the overgrown brush and trees that surrounded the barn. The property was purchased as additional acreage to support the needs of our nearby organic dairy farm. The 80 acres remain in cropland and provide a natural canvas for you to paint the portrait of your wedding day. And, our sunset views are second to none!
We look forward to welcoming you to a piece of our family farm on “The Ridge”!

Hi friends! We are super excited to announce that we recently received town approval to host weddings on “Watervale Ridge”! 🎉
We hosted two family weddings at our venue last summer, and now we are inviting others to host their wedding weekend at our property located in the rolling hills of Pompey, N.Y., near the villages of Manlius and Cazenovia.

Our newly redone 1800s farmhouse on the property sleeps up to 14 of your favorite people, and our open-concept barn comfortably seats up to 250 guests.
