Looking back, I realize how far I’ve come.
Throughout my lengthy career as a bridal accessory designer, I have never been one to attend a cocktail party, hear that someone’s daughter got engaged, and whip out my business card. I have always felt that brides will find me if my work is something they desire. In order for them to seek me out, they need to first figure out what they don’t want.
The brides who come to me aren’t looking to copy overdone trends. There are many out there that can fill those bridal style needs.
My clientele is seeking more individuality and uniqueness in their bridal accessory style. Brides from all over the country are wishing to restore, repurpose, or restyle their mother or grandmother’s wedding veil, crown, or bridal headpiece.

This gorgeous crown was repurposed from the crown Jacqueline’s mom wore on her wedding day in 1991. We created the fastening points on the crown specifically for our bride’s hairstyle.

Shannon was inspired by the headpiece style Jennifer Lopez wore for her wedding to Ben Affleck. She wanted a modern, minimalist design with a classic feel to wear with her Maggie Sottero wedding dress.
We hand-designed the headpiece frame and faced it with the fabric from her wedding gown. Her two tier custom veil was sewn to the front of her headpiece (and not the back) to overlay her headpiece for a beautiful and contemporary flair.
This beautiful headpiece and veil was created through virtual consultations for our very busy, out of state bride.

Sometimes vintage restyles can seem challenging to come up with a design. The piece Danielle’s mom wore in the 80’s was comprised of only small pearl filaments and a few AB crystals. Danielle wanted to repurpose it into small hair brooch to wear with her hair down. I was able to design a beautiful accessory for her wedding day that perfectly fit her bridal style while using her mom’s headpiece. The additional crystal clip designs were gifts for some little princesses.
