"Can I bring my child to your wedding?"

Although the SM girls love to see kids at weddings, it's not for everyone. Below are some TIPS how to handle the topic and avoid an awkward situation...

#1 Have it printed on the invitation

"Adults only wedding"

#2 Add a section to your wedding website

"As much as we both love children, we have made the hard decision to not include them in our wedding day. Please understand and make prior arrangements"

#3 Respond to direct requests by simply saying

"No I'm sorry, children are not invited"

✨✨The SEATED bridal party✨✨

It allows all 👀 on just the two of you! Have the bridal party walk down the aisle to reserved seating on the second row. They will have a perfect view of the ceremony. And now everyone can see that first 💋

❓❓When to bustle your gown❓❓

Before the grand entrance and first dance because, trust us, you do not want to twirl around with a long train. A great idea is to take a video at the final fitting that clearly shows the process of bustling. And dedicate someone for this task. Your maid of honor is our #1 choice, but anyone can do it. Just make sure they know your wishes and will be prepared for the job.

Kelly & Luis had the wedding of their dreams on Saturday at Three Lakes Manor. Everything was so beautiful, AND having a flock of geese fly over their ceremony just as they were having their first kiss was a moment we can't stop talking about. (**zoom into the first pic**)

Mocha Mousse is the color of 2025 👎🏼

Pantone, the company that influences the design community on a global scale, announced the color of the year. And we are not a big fan. It seems rather bland and unassuming, like a dark drab beige. And we love a good neutral. Maybe it'll grow on us. What do yall think?

Does the cake have to be 4 or 5 tiers to feed a large guest list? No, not necessarily.....

Have your bakery make a small 2 tiered cake that you can cut and feed each other a bite for those traditional photos. Then have sheet cakes in the kitchen that can be served. Same quality cake, same delicious flavor/s. Just a more budget friendly option.

Ceremony music selection can seem overwhelming but it can be made simple with this tip......

Limit the ceremony music to 3 songs.

ONE for the entire bridal party.

ONE for the bride, as this should be different & extra special.

ONE for the exit, usually upbeat and celebratory as the newlyweds make their way down aisle. And don't forget that dip kiss. It is a MUST!😍
