Our mission is to present artistically excellent performances and foster music education. The goal of the Musical Arts Series / Port Clinton is to provide the experience of the musical arts at their highest level for this community. Whether jazz, folk, classical vocal, choral, piano, or chamber music, we want you - our audience - to enjoy these concerts. All performances will be given at the Port

Clinton High School Performing Arts Center, unless otherwise noted. There are 3 ways to purchase tickets. Season tickets are $100.00 for all 9 concerts. (Call 419-734-6211.) Pick any 5 concerts for $65.00 per person. Individual tickets are $15.00 at the door. Students and children are always admitted free of charge. No reserved seating. www.musicalartsportclinton.com

Come to The Arts Garage and celebrate art from Ottawa County's talented school students! On display from July 29th through August 30th. And as a bonus, the Toledo Sculptor's Guild exhibit will still be open both inside and outside TAG.
The Arts Garage, home of the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council, is located at 317 W Perry Street in Port Clinton. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00AM-4:00PM.

On Thursday, July 27th, the Toledo Symphony Orchestra Jazz Trio and vocalist Lori LeFevre will return to Port Clinton to entertain. John Cleveland on piano, Norm Damschroder on bass, Scott Kretzer on percussion, and the versatile voice of Lori LeFevre. This free performance will take place at the Vineyard Community Room, 3820 E Vineyard Village Drive, on Catawba. This talented ensemble will entertain from 4:00 - 5:30 PM, and everyone is welcome to attend! This concert is sponsored by a generous outreach grant from the Harry Stensen Foundation.

The Toledo Symphony Orchestra Jazz Trio, featuring vocalist Lori LeFevre, will appear at The Vineyard on Catawba Community Center, 3820 E Vineyard Village Drive, Port Clinton, on Thursday July 27, 2023 playing from 4:00 to 5:30.

Port Clinton last evening. Jacob played his bass, while Grant played the violin, tenor guitar, and nyckelharpa. Their repertoire included both original material and arranged standards from many genres.

Jacob Warren and Grant Flick, the acoustic duo known as Warren &
Flick, will appear on the Entertainment District Stage in downtown
Port Clinton from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Thursday, July 13. Jacob
plays the bass, while Grant plays the violin, tenor guitar, and
nyckelharpa. Their repertoire includes both original material and
arranged standards from many genres.

Because they are travelling from Michigan, in case of rain, the concert will move inside to Firelands Presbyterian Church, 2626 E. Harbor Road in Port Clinton. Both venues are free and open to the public. More information is available at http://www.warrenandflick.com.

It is with deep sorrow that we shall miss Max Rabinovitsj’s violin performance at our concert this Sunday, June 18th, at 3:30 PM. Max recently lost his beloved wife Mary and now Max is experiencing severe medical consequences which prevent his travel and playing for the next 60 days. Your thoughts and prayers for Max and Mary are appreciated.
The Trio da Vinci’s other two world class musicians, Paul York – Cello, and Michael Chertock – Piano, will give us a great performance.
Cellist Paul York is an accomplished soloist, chamber musician and teacher. He currently serves on the string faculty at the University of Louisville, where he maintains an active teaching and performing schedule. Mr. York serves on the cello faculty at the ARIA Summer International Academy, and has been member of the artist faculty for Accent 09 and 11 at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
Pianist Michael Chertock has performed as a concerto soloist with many of the world's leading orchestras. He is the conductor of the Blue Ash-Montgomery Symphony, located in suburban Cincinnati. He also serves as the principal keyboardist with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and chairs the piano department at the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music.

Nancy Lendrim, harpist with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra, played for the Chalet at the Vineyard on Catawba, and for Edgewood Manor Retirement Community on Thursday, May 25th.
She played a variety of tunes from opera to Elvis, as well as Irish, English and Mexican folk tunes. And, she told her audiences about the construction and inner workings of her beautiful hand carved harp. At Immaculate Conception School on Wednesday and at Bataan Schools on Thursday, students were captivated by this story of growing up, duty, conflict resolution, and the acceptance of all people, just as they are! The Musical Arts Series / Port Clinton is looking forward to presenting Steve Ball playing music of the Civil War era next Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 1:30 PM at Elmore Retirement Village, 633 State St. #61, in Elmore Ohio. Steve Ball is a musician from Columbus Ohio specializing in the music of the American Civil War, and the music and life of Stephen Foster. Steve has studied the American Civil War since his teens, and has devoted the past twenty years to studying the music of this era in American history. His performance is being funded by a generous grant from the Ottawa County Community Foundation.

Steve has done programs for the Ohio Statehouse, the National Civil War Museum, the American Civil War Museum of Ohio, and countless historical societies, genealogical societies, libraries, museums, Civil War Round Tables and other historical venues such as re-enactments or living history programs. He has released two CD's of the music of the Civil War and is currently working on a CD of Stephen Foster tunes. Steve has been an instructor for Life Long Learning through Central Ohio Technical College. He also provides the music for the annual Springfield Ohio Civil War Symposium, and is the narrator for the 73rd Ohio Volunteer Infantry Civil War Brass Band. Guests are welcome to attend, and facemasks are encouraged.

The Toledo Opera's "Opera on Wheels" is performing in K-6 classrooms this season, including their visit yesterday to St. Boniface School in Oak Harbor. Sponsored by the The Musical Arts Series / Port Clinton through generous grants from the Rotary and Kiwanis organizations in Ottawa County. 44 students and 15 visitors were enchanted by this musical exploration of growing up, duty, conflict resolution, and the acceptance of all people as they are!

This Saturday, April 22, 2023, the The Musical Arts Series / Port Clinton will sponsor a concert by the Toledo Symphony Orchestra String Quartet at Ottawa County Riverview Health Care Campus
at 2:00 PM. According to their Riverview's activity director, Margie Zunk, friends and members of the public are welcome but face masks must be worn. The performance will take place at 8180 West State Route 163 in Oak Harbor.

We are thankful for a grant from Ottawa County Community Foundation which allows us to present this senior concert.

James D’León is returning again to Port Clinton for a must attend performance, Saturday evening May 13th at 7:30 PM. D’León has performed in England, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Canada, and 40 states throughout the continental United States. James will speak to the audience before each work, to highlight certain aspects behind their creation. He is a rare and completely versatile pianist, who is just as comfortable in a large hall or the intimate setting of Firelands Presbyterian Church, 2626 East Harbor Road in Port Clinton.

On Wednesday, March 22, 2023 the Musical Arts Series/Port Clinton will be presenting our first Senior Concert at Edgewood Manor on 1330 Fulton St at 1:30 PM.

This performance will feature Shelly Du, playing her harp. Shelly is pursuing her doctorate at Bowling Green State University, and has played with many ensembles around the country.

This concert is supported by a generous grant from the Ottawa County Community Foundation.
Guests are welcome to attend!
