They have recently retired from their careers and are moving onto a new venture offering an outdoor wedding venue in their backyard. Roberta has a passion for design that will make your special day one to remember. John is a licensed officiant and is available to perform your ceremony if desired. They like to call their venue a style of "shabby chic" but will alter it to your liking. John and Robe

rta will welcome you, listen to your thoughts and wishes as they treat you like family. As hosts they will provide an intimate and quaint setting for a wedding or special event. Their home is located along the beautiful Wisconsin River in Port Edwards. The setting will provide a beautiful and welcoming yard with many floral arrangements, a large flower garden with a water fountain which provides tranquility and peacefulness. The yard will seat your family and friends comfortably. There are gorgeous settings for your photos such as a personalized decorated wedding arch, the garden of flowers, the beautiful Alexander House and of course the lovely Wisconsin River. Imagine arriving on your wedding day having every detail to your liking ready and waiting for you. Including music, seating, florals, and a gorgeous wedding arch. A large old stone fireplace will be your perfect setting for an optional glass of wine or champagne and hors d’oeuvres in celebration of your special day for you and your guests. John and Roberta will ensure your day will be filled with beauty, laughter and love.

I was honored to host an English Tea themed Wedding Shower for Kenzie Jacobitz this past Saturday. It was put on and catered by her mom Lori Jacobitz. I will say it again, I love what I do. My absolute biggest reward is watching the face of the “bride to be”when she first sees that I’ve created the setting of her dreams.

So many people say how they love this willow tree. I’ve always felt its beauty is in its gracefulness as the breeze gently flows through. I was curious what this tree really signifies. I googled it and the spiritual meaning states “it’s a symbol of fertility and new life”. I was amazed! I now know why I’ve been blessed to have The Wedding Garden.

I had the privilege of hosting a family and friends gathering of a delightful celebration of Jeff and Carey O’Connor’s daughter Madison and her new husband Kai’s recent marriage. Their actual wedding took place in Kansas City. Today was an extension of their celebration here in Wisconsin at The Wedding Garden. It was a very elegant and lovely setting.
