Introducing The Getaway — a Cedar Lakes Estate beer, brewed & packaged by Hudson Valley Brewery. We’ve long believed that hospitality is about elevation — taking something familiar and making it exceptional. That’s why, when the opportunity came to craft a Cedar Lakes Estate house beer, we knew it had to be the best beer out there.
We’ve been longtime friends (& fangirls) of Hudson Valley Brewery for more than eight years now. Over that time, the dream of a house beer has quietly taken shape and we knew they were the only brewery that we wanted to partner with. Based in Beacon, New York (just 40 minutes east of us), this award-winning brewery blends tradition and craft, rooted in the Hudson Valley’s spirit of innovation.
We wanted to create something elevated, yet approachable — a beer that evokes laid back luxury... just like us. After multiple rounds of taste-testing, playing with interesting, unique flavors drawn right from the property, and perfecting the details, we landed on The Getaway: a crisp, classic pilsner with a whisper of lemon. It’s light, refreshing, sophisticated, and perfect whether you’re dressed up or keeping it casual on the lake... either way you’ll always want more than one.
In a nod to two distinct personalities, there are two unique labels on The Getaway. Think of them as two sisters’ personalities, one vibe, one beer. We hope you’ll raise a glass with us — Cheers 🍻
