Now in the darkest part of the year, the silvery hues of this season evoke sparkling Sugar Plum Fairy vibes. One goal I have is to bring light to Winter Weddings, particularly here in the PNW! Prices are lower, there’s much more availability, it’s cozy and quiet and there is just sooo much beauty this time of year. Bring on the dark and bask in the glow!

Paint it black! As we near Halloween I want to take a moment to call out this beautiful trans wedding from last summer. I was excited and challenged when they requested black roses! Their unique vision of a pink and black wedding was incredibly inspiring and I felt honored to support their nonconformist love! 🖤🩷🕷️🦄

I’ve had a unusually quiet few weeks work-wise, so I’ve been enjoying peak summer activities like swimming (lakes, rivers, ocean), camping and basking in my garden playing with flowers! Such a treat!! This color palette is totally cooky and unplanned, I just picked whatever was blooming but I kinda dig the combo… late summer brilliance!
Thank goodness for laughter on work days that start at 6:30am and end at 1:30am the following day! As I ride the wave of summer wedding season I am so grateful for this place, this community, for saving my butt 😜, my dear family and glorious summer weather!
Also gratitude for having orange flowers! for being my home base, for fellowship. Onward!!!
While I admit I love the rush of creating and the bust of summer work, it is still magic to just look around this world and receive the beauty that is here. This feels equally as important in my artistic flow. Cheers to the pause!

Daaang, Mother Nature is the best stylist ever! Just…. Whaaa?! This little masterpiece greeted me on my windshield this morning.
Getting our Christmas tree up this year feels amazing; in our very own house, tree harvested from our land, new flooring I just finished laying, walls freshly painted (yes I still need shades for my vintage chandelier!!) It’s no wonder I’ve been exhausted. Now it’s time to sip my hot chocolate and put my feet up! Happy Holidays all ✨
Happy Thanksgiving week! I’m grateful for this quieter time of year and moments I can create just for me. I sat with the sun on my back one frosty morning and made this wreath. Though it is cold and dark in WA this time of year I love how much I can relish the winter sunshine!
This happens to just be a pic of my guest room BUT I’m really feeling the color palette: pale lavender/grey + crimson + mossy green. How gorgeous would this be as a wedding color combo? Just putting it out in the universe! ✨💋💫
And just like that… it’s fall. Wow, this has been a beautiful year! Tucking in now and turning towards 2023. Book early for all the delights: flowers, draping, lights, magical installations and more! 🍁✨

The Islamic Republic of Iran regime is blocking the internet. Iranians have to use VPN & other dangerous methods to get content out. When we reshare the videos/photos that do get out, we are helping to amplify the voices of Iranians. They want us to help get
their stories out. Doing so also scares the regime because they don't
want the international community to see what is happening. Footage being widespread online also raises morale of Iranians to keep protesting.

Set up this boho-farm-style banquet as a teacher appreciation gift at my daughter’s school. All the flowers were from the school’s garden or mine!
