Happy International Women’s Day! We figured today would be the perfect opportunity to tell you a little bit more about our amazing female chef/owner, Synaca Stevens.
Chef Synaca graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Portland, OR., over 23 years ago. Since then she has worked as an executive chef in Portland, Costa Rica and now Florida where she runs Homegrown Catering and Events. Synaca stepped away from the restaurant life as an Executive Chef and started this business in August of 2023. Homegrown Catering and Events has allowed her to grow not only as a chef but as her most important role, a mother. She hopes to continue to bring fresh, local, tailored cuisine to central and north east Florida.
