"Oh the Places you'll go!" Is my favorite Dr. Seuss book as it shows the journey in ones life....all ups and downs and how much work it takes to succeed.

The book it's represented by this iconic mountain painted with different colored rings filled with pastries. The young boy is going up the mountain on his elephant about to find an obstacle that will for sure slow him down; an identical upside down mountain defying gravity.

The whole piece is intentionally painted with a watercolor effect, as it was one of Dr. Seuss favorite techniques on his illustrations, and off course; his iconic black outlines.

and I really loved this piece 🫶♥️! We struggled a lot having the pastries defy gravity but in the end we found a way that worked so they wouldn't fall 🙃

We will be representing those who move away from home with a bag FULL OF DREAMS and take every opportunity to learn and become better people/pastry chefs along the way 👩‍🍳🎂

Tomorrow!!! July 16th is our 3rd Annual Christmas in July at the Lakeside Community Center inside and out. Rain or shine we will be here. 70 vendors, crafters, artisans, face painting, food trucks and Santa! Santa arrives at 11am. Event starts at 10am to 3pm. Free admission and parking. See you all tomorrow

My life changed when I discovered modeling chocolate...
Does anyone feel the same way?
I have very hot hands which makes it very easy to erase seams but makes it harder to work with on a hot day.
