I havent gotten the chance to stop and thank everyone for a great open house this year! I was stressed with doing a two day event but thanks to wonderful vendors and amazing clients we pulled it off. What a wonderful wedding season it has been so far. We are one Event away from the end of our season and have loved hosting such great families. Thank you everyone whom chose to share their day with us. We love seeing all the photos we have been recieving. Feel free to post your favorite photo of your day in the comments as well as any shoutouts to any vendors that went above and beyond!

We will be partially out of office from October 2nd until October 15th with limited access to email and phone. During this time site visits will not be available with the exceptions of events and tours already pre scheduled. Today is a very hard day for our Cedar Springs Family. We recently lost one of our members and today we celebrate his life. Blaine Russell Konrad worked with us for many years starting when he was just 16.

I still remember the day he started. As I was waist deep cleaning the ponds a young kid came down to introduce himself to me in perfectly pressed clothes and shoes that looked fresh out of the box without a single spec of dirt on them. I thought to myself this kid isnt going to last a week....

Boy how wrong I was, Blaine grew into one of the hardest working people I ever had the pleasure of working with and he always came in with a huge smile with stories to tell. I dont know how many times I heard the sentence "I was talking to a good buddy of mine...." but the funny thing is I think it only took one conversation with blaine to become one of his "buddies". He truly was one of the kindest souls and willing to help anyone.

I truly think one of his favorite parts of working at Cedar Springs was working as a parking attendant so he could chat with the people as they came in for an event.

We are so proud of who he became and will deeply miss his friendly smile and contagious laugh

Cedar Springs will be hosting a vendor Showcase next Wednesday from 5-8pm. This is the perfect time to see the venue set up in the evening and meet some amazing vendors. This will be a self guided open house as far as tours but a Cedar Springs Staff member will be onsite to answer questions. This is a free event but does require a ticket which can be found at the link below.
