The Band Program at Port Saint Lucie High School has a rich history of success since the schools opening in 1989.. The students of the Port Saint Lucie High School Band Program make up the Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Color Guard, and The Marching Jaguars, which features the entire program. The bands at PSL High School have received ratings of Superior and Excellent at nearly all Marching and Concert Band Music Performance Assessments since the schools opening.

Another year of the PSLHS band is in the history books! It is no easy task to run this fundraiser, during all mall hours, with constant volunteer supervision! But, thankfully, our amazing band students and parents step up big time and not only get the job done, but do it with a sense of positivity that continually brings customers back! It’s been a busy few days for the PSLHS Band Program! This weekend our students were represented in many different aspects, from the Festival of Lights parade at the PSL Community Center, to the Tri State Band festival, and even at the Sunrise Theatre performing for over 1,000 people! We are grateful for each opportunity and can’t wait to keep on going! Not to mention, our Gift Wrap Booth at the treasure coast mall is thriving like never before! Be sure to check it out, you won’t be disappointed! Next up, Winter Concert!

Please join us next Thursday, December 12th, for our annual Winter Concert, entitled “A Winter’s Invitation”. The doors open at 6:30pm and the show begins at 7pm. Tickets are only $5 a piece and you will be entertained by the jazz band, color guard, percussion ensemble, symphonic band, and wind ensemble! Last home game of the season was a blast! We welcomed lots of 8th graders from Southport and Palm Pointe to the stands with us for middle school band night! Lots of energy and lots of memories! Tomorrow is MPA and your last chance to see us perform Strength of the Pack, as well as many other amazing bands in our area! It all starts at 3pm at Jensen beach high school, and we perform at 4:40!
