Friday October 25th was a very special wedding!!!! Congratulations Maddie & Dean Bonney on tying the knot at The Barn at Oleander!!! I have loved watching this bride grow up from a young spunky little girl to a stunning young woman!!! ❤️❤️ It was a wedding for the books and the best way to end our 2024 wedding season!!

Amidst the path of Hurricane Milton we were back and forth with how to make Brianna and Isaiah’s wedding happen. Thank you to Serene Events/Drinks By Dawn for working her tail off to make Brianna’s vision happen. We were able to make magic and it couldn’t have been a better wedding day success story!! A huge thank you to Lauren the owner of The Office Sports Pub for donating $1000 in Publix gift cards to residents of Spanish Lakes Communities!! Gift cards were personally handed to people that were victims of last week’s tornadoes!! Thanks to Kelly Baehr and Patty Lucidi who immediately donated as well! We live in a great community!!

Huge shoutout to St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, St. Lucie County Fire District, St. Lucie County staff, County Administrator George Landry..all of the departments..County Commissioners Jamie Pierce FowlerCathy Townsend King..and I know I am missing some....but these people and organizations have been doing an incredible job with disaster relief for the residents of Spanish Lakes Country Club in Lakewood Park. (And other locations all over the county)

Our State and local governments are working their tails off and I am so proud to be a resident of SLC!!!!

I have witnessed State Representative Dana Trabulsy working tirelessly every day to get these residents the individual things they need. The list is so long and may seem simple to some but so important to those receiving the aide. With her help.. and relations with Southern Eagle Distributing... we were able to put on a huge BBQ and Happy hour for the residents out there last night. Hundreds of smiles on faces, reuniting hugs with others and good food in their bellies!!! Thank you to one incredible DJ and friend DJ LOUIE G ENTERTAINMENT...who without hesitation offered his services and came and played music for them while they enjoyed the night.

Watching this community come to get together, drop their lives to serve other is what being an American is all about!! I am humbled and so proud of our community!!!!

Thanks to Christ Fellowship, for being hands on organizations that are truly boots on the ground doing the work!!!!

At tonight’s Open House I am taking up a colllection of either Visa, Publix or Winn Dixie gift cards for the elderly residents of Spanish Lakes. I have been assisting our State Representative Dana Trabulsy getting individual care for these people that have lost so much!! There is no news coverage cause media is not alllowed in there. However, I’m telling you it is a war zone. Some are getting power back and have no food to put in their fridges. Going to the clubhouse three times a day is becoming exhausting for some of them. I know it’s last minute… but if anyone would like to donate. I will personally get them in the hands of individuals that need it!! This is only a sample of the devastation.😞

Assessed the property at The Barn at Oleander and we have power and NO damage. Lots of branches EVERYWHERE...our market lights are down. However, feeling very thankful everything can be cleaned up. We will be vigilant tomorrow in our clean up efforts to get ready for a wedding on Saturday!!!!!! Anyone have some teens that want some Community Service hours....text me at 772-370-6887. I may be able to use the extra help!
God Bless the families that suffered significant damage to their homes and loss of family members. This was a historical storm that I know we will always remember.

Despite the heavy rain on Joey and Abi's wedding day, the celebration was filled with joy. Their deep friendship and love for each other shone through, and they remained inseparable throughout the night, making the most of every moment. We are going to miss their smiling faces at Open Houses at the barn. Couples like Abi & Joey make us love what we do❤️❤️
