It’s been awhile! I’ve been reselling my collection. I decided to add a few pieces to replace what I sold.

If you’ve seen my previous posts you know I love peacock chairs. And, today I found this beauty!!😍
He’s in great condition for his age. He is a true vintage piece shown here in its unaltered condition. As I cleaned it I realized what an intricately designed item it is.
It’s made from wood of different thicknesses and purposes. Some spiral around, other pieces make designs as the arm rests, the back is criss crossed wood that is fanned out in the likeness of a 🦚 peacock. All the wood is twisted, bent and twirled to create the design.
Love it!

Well we did it! We catered two events! A bridal shower in Miami Gardens and a baby shower in Palm City. Some favorites from our menu include Smoked Salmon Canapes, Cucumber Sandwiches, Curry Chicken Salad on Croissant and our Vanilla Bean Scones.

Our little business dream has changed so much since we first started. In the beginning we did garage sales, estate sales and we had our booth at the local antique shop. I was also reselling on Etsy, eBay and Marketplace. I even did a little furniture rehab! Then, with Covid, my grandmother passed and family drama I decided trying to ship furniture and travel all over the state treasure hunting was just too much. I switched up and did a Mother's Day tea party and fell in love with the idea.
Tea parties blend a few of my favorite things: looking beautiful, pretty table settings, delicious food and enjoying friends and family.
So I went with it! But, I soon realized the dainty little finger sandwiches; assorted flavors of sweet scones; and pretty desserts were not that easy to find. And being the person I am, I went and got my food handlers permit (ServeSafe certification) so I could make the food I wanted. It also allows me to customize my menu to suit my client's taste.
And, so here we are! I've been playing around with the idea of rebranding the business. Did you know the upgraded version of has a logo creator? After answering a few questions this is what it designed for me. What do you think?

Happy Friday!!!
So, I just told someone I wasn't buying anything else. I just said it.
And somehow my car drove itself ALL the way to Stuart to one of Estate Sales by Ellen's sales. She does a nice sale and gives good deals. She's a tough lady but to know is her is to love her.
She and her compadres were at the door and welcomed me in.
I immediately saw the first thing I came for. In estate sale shopping...that's a good sign. I shopped around a very nice home in a gated community. There weren't too many people there which I prefer so I can concentrate and take my time looking at what's for sale. Apparently the owner was an avid entertainer and hostess because there were all kinds of dish sets, silverware sets, glassware, linens, tablecloths, kitchen tools, cookbooks and a lot more.
Ellen offered me a box after my first few grabs. A box? A box? I am trying not to buy everything I see as it is and now a box? For me to fill up? 😁
I managed to control myself...I think. Well, here are a few of the items I ended up with. How'd I do?
