As the season is almost at an end, I wanted to post a few random pics from around the property that I enjoyed. We are relieved that the pond area is finally taking shape. Some experimenting was done with sunflowers and we have decided to do a more concentrated strip of them around the pond for next year. We also planted buckwheat for the bees and realized it creates a lovely blanket of white flowers. I also wanted to post a pic of our new cat Shadow, aka "Little cat" as she is very shy and does not get nearly as much attention as our big cat JR.

Wanted to share some pics from Sara & Jeremy Wauns' wedding held here July 27th. They were a wonderful fun couple to work with, and so creative! Love the flowy fabric hanging around the barn and the flowers, which Jeremy did himself, were perfection.

I am always so fascinated with the different set ups people use in the barn. I wanted to highlight that we have a stage for a sweetheart table that many people love, but that stage can also be hooked up and become a feature wall. Recently we had a couple who wanted the head tables set up family style and that was just beautiful. We continue to appreciate all of the creativity and talent.

It was another glorious U-pick and Artisan Fair this year. The weather was perfect, the visitors were lovely and the vendors brought so many wonderful creations. Thank you to all who attended and participated. We have about 100 phenomenal lavender plants in 5 inch pots that did not sell at the event available at $5 a plant. Reach out if you are interested. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!

The lavender is waiting to be picked! Hope to see everyone here July 4th 10am-4pm.

Chloe from Hill Farm will be back again this year with lavender wreath making demonstrations. She will have some gorgeous premade wreaths available as well as wreath making kits with everything you need to make your own. You may also use the lavender you have picked from the field. Demonstrations are every 30 min, starting at 10:30 am. If you would like to pre-register for a particular time, please send me an email to: [email protected].

Other participating vendors include: Chrysalis Healing Co., Edible Works of Art, Keep it glassy, Rustic Naiad, Crafts & Creations by Teresa, The Licorice Guy, Sparked with Purpose, MI Natural, 1894 Craft Co., Mrs. Coles Jams and Jellies, Donna Ts Creations, Sowing Seeds Flower Farm, The Rustic Loaf, Pete's Bees, Rootie Studios, Sandy Beads, The Barefoot Gardener, Chunky Stiches and Glamorous Glass.

The Cheese Wagon will be here as well in case you get hungry!

Also, if you are visiting The Michigan Lavender Festival this weekend please drop by the virtual vendors tent and see our display.

We are very excited to host our lavender U-pick and artisan fair again this year. There are several more vendors with unique, wonderful items on display and the cheese wagon will be here in case you get hungry. The lavender already has a tinge of purple on it, so it should be glorious by July 4th. We hope to see you all here! No cost to enter. Featured Artisans include: Olivia Stitchwell Handcrafts, Sandy Beads LLC, The Barefoot Gardener, The Rustic Loaf , Sowing Seeds Flower Farm, Budding Hill Farm, Mrs. Cole's Jams & Jellies, Chunky Stiches, Glamorous Glass, MI Natural Inc, 1894 Craft Co., Donna Ts Creations, Pete's Bee's & Woodworking.
We still have vendor space available if there are any artisans interested.

Looking for new vendors!! Lavender Shores Farm will be hosting our U-pick and Artisan fair this July 4th. Last year was a huge success and we are looking to expand. Please reach out if you are interested. We are also considering having a food truck and would appreciate any recommendations on who to reach out to.
