It may have been the hottest night ever but I had the best time with Miss Quinn at HR Rabbitry Hummel's Farm. This animal loving girl loved up on all of their animals and they sure loved her.

Just a little FYI...

Suddenly I am in a new phase of life. My "All-Star Era", well not mine but you know what I mean. My plan of attack (there is no actual plan) is to take it on one day at a time. Which I know isn't helpful for your planning purposes. Games can be 2/3 times a week and games can change due to weather. We could be done in June or play until August. 🤪

With all of the above being said my sessions will be limited this summer. However I plan to shoot as much as possible once this season is over and have pop up mini sessions which may be planned last minute.

How lucky am I? I get to watch beautiful families grow. I get to hear their stories (I am a weirdo and love the birth ones). I get to watch big Sisters be obsessed with their new baby Brother. See little smiles, and snuggle on new babes. I may complain (a lot) about the chaos of my life but on days like this I LOVE what I do.

Is it a coincendence that one of my favorite weddings I ever photographed would be my last? It lead me to even for a split second consider taking on a few more.

Josh & Sarah thank you for making this day spectacular. It was filled with so much love and I couldn't have asked for a better couple to end this wedding season on.

Getting sentimental over here... Tball, there really are no rules. The kids are playing in the dirt. They leave with more rocks in their pockets and actual balls hit. However this is where it is at! This is where the fun is. Can you tell I want to go back to tball where it was sweet and innocent?!?!

Last night was SALL Youth Night!

Favorite moments...
⚾️ All the wild boys showing up, hanging out and being kids.
⚾️ The reaction on a LL face when the HS team was announced and they had the same name.
⚾️ The adoration a LL had when they got to stand next to a HS player or received a fist bump from them.
⚾️ Last night wasn't about what team you played on. It was about a game these kids love. About being part of a community and creating memories on and off the field.

Obsessed!!!

I’ve been blessed with so many amazing opportunities throughout the years during my photography journey. From going to school in Massachusetts, and meeting people from across the country that had a love for photography like I did but also from a completely different perspective. To living in Philadelphia and experiencing a whole new life and working with high end clients. Covering many different events in our local community with The Daily Item. Traveling to Kansas to cover the aftermath of a tornado that ripped a town apart. Food photography, newborns, weddings and so many things in between.

Growing up I thought I’d be an underwater photographer. I met with the Navy at one point to inquire about a military photographer. One thing is for sure the opportunities are endless. Even when people say the photography world is saturated with photographers. Remember we all have our own perspective and our own story to tell. A story that is forever growing and evolving.

PERSONALITY PORTRAIT MINI SESSIONS!

Whether your child is quiet, or wild. Whether they are into art or sports. Let's capture them for who they truly are. These are mini sessions totally stripped down. It’s just the kids on white, with no distractions. It is an opportunity to let them shine on who they truly are.

These sessions are perfect for littles (that can at least sit on their own) to seniors. Even the awkward pre-teens that are in between! Let them be just simply them or bring their bat, ball or a favorite hat. These sessions are for individuals only but you may book sibling photos with back to back sessions.

This 10 minute session will give you 5 (+) images on an online gallery with rights to printing. You will receive full color and black and white options.

🚨 SCHEDULE UPDATE:

Spring is here! Doesn't feel like it but technically it is. That means my busy season is also here. So I don't feel like I'm slowly crumbling between now and July I plan to have a different approach to my schedule for this year.

I will NOT be holding Easter/Spring minis this year but hope to hold "Personality Portrait Minis" within the next week or so.
👀 Keep an eye out for a post!

The months of April and May will be spent photographing roughly a 1,000 plus kids for four different sport organizations. Plus two weddings. During those months and into June I will not be taking on any family sessions.

🤱 I am and will be accepting newborn sessions since these are typically done during the day and work with my schedule a little more.

I am hoping by the end of June I'll be all caught up and be able to open my schedule to family and senior sessions. If you are looking to book a session in June I will be opening those dates in May.

💍 After I wrap up my weddings scheduled for this Spring. I will no longer be photographing weddings. This breaks my heart but unfortunately it just doesn't work with my schedule.

Continued to hire me to capture your beautiful growing families. Last 🏀 photos of the year! There was something about the hand on the hip and a leg pop for these sassy 1st and 2nd grade ball players. Seriously though how stinking cute?!?!

My Gram saved and documented everything! She also had a story for every photograph in which ignited my love for photos.

I wanted to enlarge some images and put them up so I was able to have a little fun. The first images are the originals, little 3x5’s. Second are retouched (dust and scratches removed) and enlarged to 8x10’s. The third I added a little color which I didn’t print but love how they come to life.

The right image is my Pap when he was in the military. The left image is my Great Grandfather, his Son and Grandson in front of his milk truck. The image on the side of his truck was painted in 1944 of Little Norway by a Barbara Burns. I found a news article that stated it was “a mobile billboard” the first of its kind!
