Know what makes me happy? It’s almost November, and I’m still posting baseball photos. ⚾️
All of my Pinterest dreams came true with this shoot. These boys were wild — they made me laugh out loud more times than I can count and might just be the cutest little Sandlot crew ever. Honestly, I got to a point where I was just clicking the shutter and hoping for the best. Believe it or not, there was very minimal photoshopping involved!
The coordination that went into this — the outfits, finding Wendy, the whole vibe — was nothing short of amazing. While I was downloading these photos, I couldn’t stop smiling. I swear I could still hear their giggles.
A few random lessons from this shoot:
⚾️ Don’t photograph a group of boys on a Friday night before a football game.
⚾️ Patience is your best friend.
⚾️ Always bring the coach — they do not listen to moms.
⚾️ When you ask them to put their arms around each other, expect headlocks and someone falling over.
⚾️ And most importantly, be ready to laugh until you cry or p*e a little.
I can’t wait to recreate this shoot when they’re in high school someday.
And yes… after this one, I definitely went home and had myself a well-earned beverage.
