This looks a little different than my 'normal' feed on here, but that's okay! I hit 'pause' for a minute to truly immerse myself into memories with my little family. To the clients who have patiently waited for my email responses and the 'safe travel' messages, thank you. Truly. Thank you for understanding, that I too, deserve time off to refresh and recharge, so when I come back, I can be my best self for you! To get back to the grind of planning your big day!
This trip was so humbling for me. It grounded me. Reminded me of how much I have to be grateful for. To experience London & Ireland through my daughter's eyes was a reminder that everyone needs to hit that 'pause'' button more often in their life... especially on your wedding day. Step back and be thankful for those in your life that are able to experience those moments with you. The moments that turn into forever memories.

And that's a wrap! The Sounds of Summer concert event that F&A hosted was a great success! I can proudly say over 100 guests joined us for live music, refreshing drinks, tasty food, great dance moves and PERFECT weather! I distinctly remember it closing out to 11pm at the end of the event and stepping back smiling at how many people were still there laughing and making memories. I was able to advertise my business and services to some new faces that attended that night, along with promoting the great vendors that helped make the event possible! All in all, I couldn't be happier for where F&A is, and the path it is going!
✨ Also, I could never forget about praising my coordinators that came to not only help with the event, but allow me to truly enjoy myself and get 'sucked up' in the work like I tend to do! I see you and I appreciate you!
One of my favorite memories to date for F&A. The 'Sounds of Summer' concert had over 100 attendees last evening and I couldn't feel more humbled than I do now. Not only did friends and family show their support by attending, but also others from word of mouth or my social media posts joined the party which is exactly what I wanted! I was able to show people my business and what I offer, along with allowing the vendors that participated in my event to do the same! I'm counting my blessings today for the growth F&A has made.
Thank you to all who showed up last night and to those that didn't, you truly missed out!

2023 was a learning year for ‘Forever & Always’ in all of the best ways. Not only did I learn a lot about the wedding industry, but I learned a lot about myself. I learned... - How unique each & every client’s event is, and how lucky I am to be a part of that big day with them. - How crucial it is to have strong relationships with vendors. - It’s okay to set boundaries... and to stick to those boundaries. No one is superman, and even though I always try, I can’t move mountains for you. - Working CAN be fun! - Always make sure there is a cake cutting set, two forks, and a plate stationed at the cake table for cutting. - It’s okay to ‘ruffle a few feathers’ to ensure your clients day is exactly how they want it. - You can’t make everyone happy...no matter how hard you try. - Being a mom and running your own business is doable.. and makes you feel SO empowered! - A well established team is a necessity to avoid burnout - You can never have enough bandaids in your ‘emergency kit’ Cheers to a year full of learning & another year ahead for growth! 🥂 #newyear #michiganwedding #weddingplanner #bride #happynewyear

As I reflect on this past year I can't help but become overwhelmed with emotion. I followed a dream and this dream is now my reality!
