Our Story

My name is Emily Ranney and I’m the owner at Emily Jayne Photography LLC. This is my sixth year in business and I am continually thriving to learn and consistently provide you with the best images you deserve. Life is such a precious gift we should treasure. And what better to capture each special moment in your life then a photograph which can make a thousand words and last a lifetime. It is an investment you truly cannot put a limit on.

Investment. Professional photography is an investment for you and your family to create everlasting memories while I capture them for you. It starts with a beautiful belly that is carrying your growing child. While pregnancy is filled with so many emotions it is so important to capture that growing belly. It showcases one of your greatest accomplishments, and it doesn't last long.

Your baby~ The most precious gift from day one. You are so smitten with him or her, yet so incredibly exhausted. Your entire world has been flipped upside down, in a good way of course. Newborn photography captures that newness that quickly slips away and you soon forget. I know because my baby hasn't been a baby for too long now! As much as I try to remember sometimes I forget how tiny he was. I forget how innocent and pure he was entering into his toddler years. And all those tiny little details when they are small and as they grow, like the fingers and toes and lips and the nose. The first year is quick, but lets face it our sweet babes grow way to fast.

As they develop their sweet little personalities, you will want to capture that. Those big cute gummy smiles that soon have a few teeth filling them. Quickly turn to talking and walking and running around. Before you know it they are heading off to their first day of school. These are the years you will want to remember and the times you will want to invest. In just a blink of an eye your babies will be having their own babies and you will have the opportunity to bless them with all of the amazing memories you've invested in. Don't look at photography as an expense, but as an investment in your families memories. After all, memories are priceless.
