I love first looks! I suggest to every one of my bride and grooms to do one! I love being able to capture the moment, the nerves, excitement and extreme joy at first seeing the love of your life looking their absolute best. It's even more special when your wedding party helps primp you to make sure you look your best. Enjoy these special moments!

Kelsey and Robert met because Robert knew her best friend Alexis before she did. Kelsey and Alexis worked at the same bar. Robert came to visit her at the bar while we were working, he saw Kelsey, was frightened, and apparently intrigued because he chased after her for 3 years before they began dating. Haha. He bought her a dog and she let the dog “decide” whether she said yes when he asked her to officially date him. After that they bought a house, had two babies, bought another house, got married, and here they are now!

Robert proposed by putting a onesie on their son Ezra and asking Kelsey to marry his Daddy ❤️

Kelsey reached out to me over facebook and starting talking about her wedding as she was searching for a photographer, we clicked instantly and I knew we would make a great team! I'm so glad they picked me for their wedding.

Their wedding was a perfect vision come to life, it was so unique and I remember when she was describing it to me with the colors I couldn't envision what it would look like altogether but I knew it was super unique and I was excited to see it. When I showed up it was better than imagined. They got married in their backyard on their property in a private ceremony with a mixture of colorful floor rugs to create the aisle way. They also used vintage dining room table chairs as the seats for the ceremony. The colors were my favorite part, they were sage green and purple with touches of gold and it was all balanced out beautifully with Kelseys white and gold dress! Just absolute perfection. Everyone was in awe with all of the children involved in the wedding including the oldest son pulling the youngest 2 down the aisle in a wagon.

This engagement shoot was straight out of a Rom Com... from the rain out of nowhere, the clear umbrellas, the red lip, bow in her hair, cuddle shots under the umbrella, and to finish it all photos under twinkly lights!!! 💞💄🌟

Here Comes the Love of Your Life...

I just love when kids are involved in weddings, especially when they are in the wedding and I think its even more precious when they come down the aisle in the wedding. It may be a tad more stressful to have kids involved but they truly do add so much magic to the day!

Is the there anything cuter than a little girl trying on her mothers wedding dress... I think not! Juniper got her true "princess moment" when she tried on her mommas dress in the mirror, it was so cute and everyone teared up a bit. So precious!!

Kelsey has beautiful hair and a flawless complexion so needless to say it didn't take much to get her ready. I loved that while she was getting ready, Juniper was watching and would look over at mom to see how pretty she was. I think Kelsey had a true "princess moment" when she put on her dress.

OMG I need all of my sessions to dress their families like this from now on! I don't think I've ever seen a better clothing combo for a fall shoot! Absolutely dreamy too with the golden hour slot they had!!! Jaclyn killed it picking out the clothes! Thank you guys so much for driving out to me to try this location, I told you it would be worth the drive and I think you guys would agree!!!

Stefanie and Kyle met at work 6 years ago while they were both in different relationships, they worked on different shifts so they said hi in passing. Fast forward 2 years, both out of relationships so they started talking and hanging out. Had an instant connection. They’ve been inseparable for almost 4 years now.

About the proposal, Kyle was planning something big in front of our families but decided he couldn’t wait so he proposed one night before bed.

Now I know every bride's fear is that something will go wrong at their wedding, especially when you pick your wedding date a year or more in advance, I know a lot of the fears surround rain and bad weather at your wedding and I totally understand that fear. But I am here to tell you that rain will not ruin your wedding day. These two here are proof that if you want to get married nothing and I mean NOTHING will stop you from getting married. These two had the weather try to stop them, then they had medical issues try to stop them. But their love for eachother and their support of eachother plus with the help of their family and friends, nothing was going to stop this wedding. It rained on and off all day and they still ended up with gorgeous photos, the groom unfortunately had medical issues that effected him for most of the day and they still got married and had a beautiful day.

Did it go the way they wanted it to? Gosh no! But with their determination and persistence and love they did the damn thing! At the end of the day all that matters is that you marry your best friend! Stef knew that that was all that mattered and she was such a trooper throughout this whole day. I was so impressed with how she handled everything and with how she kept it together with what could have been described as any brides nightmare to deal with on her wedding day. I adore you both and you guys truly are each others best friends and you showed that to everyone on your wedding day! You will laugh about how this all went someday, maybe not right now but someday!

I just love the simplicity of the details of a wedding... but these colors for this wedding was such an amazing combo between the sage green that the groom wore to the green of the flower girl dress and then the touch of gold on the bride's dress is just the "cherry" on top!!!

I am so glad the Hubbard came out to see me again this year, the kids have gotten so big since I last seen them and sweet little man, Macallan, has become such a model. His personality really came out with this session, a cool name for an even cooler dude! We had so much fun, I think the kids even did too! How adorable are these 4?!?
