Back on July 21, 2024, Irwin Fermin, a young man who was deaf and deeply loved by many, tragically lost his life after being shot.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating this tragic incident that occurred in the 11600 block of Eastex Service Road, where deputies found Irwin, fatally shot inside a crashed Ford Escape. The vehicle had multiple bullet holes, and there was no exchange of gunfire. Whoever did this to Irwin, fled the scene and has not been identified.

Irwin leaves behind his family, children, and countless friends who considered him family. His family is asking for help in sharing this message in hopes of finding those responsible for his death. They are seeking anyone who may have seen, heard, or captured anything on their cameras to come forward so they can get the justice they deserve.

His sister shared the following message:

It has been two long months without closure on my brother’s death. If anyone has any information or knows the full story, please come forward and help solve this crime. If you feel threatened or scared, you can remain anonymous. Your help would be greatly appreciated, and you would be helping a family find the closure they deserve and easing some of the pain caused by this uncertainty.
