Long time fan but first time meeting John 'Birdman' Finn last month in Vero, Florida. Birdman is a long time purveyor Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Ginastica Natural. He's also an instructor at the Origin Immersion camp.
What is Ginastica Natural, you ask? A bodyweight conditioning that helps improve balance, strength & stability while improving your movement and mobility in jiu jitsu. I got to try a few Ginastica classes and it was really fun and challenging. Unfortunately I didn't get any footage of that since I was participating.
Full Plates Full Potential Hot Lunch Special
A throwback to June when I had the opportunity to shoot photos for the Full Plates Full Potential's 2nd annual Hot Lunch Special fundraiser at Kennebunk High School. This event was so much fun to capture.
FPFP's slogan says they're ending child hunger in Maine, but they do so much more. They're such a great resource for education in food insecurity in Maine.
In most events that I shoot photos for, I will occasionally capture video as well if there's any time to do it. That way I can always provide a bit more value afterwards to my clients when they hire me to capture their events.

This past Saturday Team Lawton Martial Arts hosted an action-filled kids-only tournament. It was a packed house as they had 3 matches going simultaneously. Little jiu jitsu ninjas 🥷 from all over Maine came to compete, representing all ages.
