Statement areas that make a huge impact ⬇️

If you want to make a statement, consider investing one of these four areas of your wedding to wow guests (or, all of them like Natalie and Joey did!):

1. Seating Chart: this is one of the signs you need at your wedding, so you might as well go big or go home!

2. Tablescape: each and every person will appreciate the beautiful of a well designed tablescape, and unique touches like custom embroidered napkins will DEFINITELY leave a lasting impression.

3. Installation: depending on your venue, a lighting installation really makes a space feel complete and homey. For a tent, it really helps fill the open air and even a bit of ambiance when the night hits.

4. Entrance: this is your guests first impression of your wedding, and we love to set the tone with an entrance. Plus, depending on your venue, we can always repurpose entrance decor and florals to your reception space after everyone has had a chance to experience it.

We know that weddings aren’t all about how it looks - but theres nothing we love more than creating a well-thought out design that fits our couples vision and budget. All you need is an idea or a feeling of what you want your wedding to be like - we’ll help guide you through the rest.

How it turned out ✨ vs how it started (last slide)!

If you’re the type of person who worries about what your wedding design is actually going to look like, you need a Design Board (aka a mood board). We help create these for all our clients with design packages, after meeting with them to determine their direction and going through their inspiration photos.

The last slide is just “page one” of our design boards that shows the vision at a glance. We create a *realistic* deck of inspiration images and mock ups before you inquire to wedding vendors like florists, invite designers, signage artists, and rental companies. It’s one of our favorite parts of planning!

FIVE IDEAS FOR PERSONAL TOUCHES AT YOUR WEDDING✨

Gone are the days of the “template” wedding - our couples are making their wedding their own these days! And we love sharing fun ideas - the best part about being a team of planners is that we’re always tossing around ideas and putting out brains together to find unique solutions for couples.

Here’s 5 things that Emmy and Pete did for their elegant, B&W wedding at :

1). They did two ceremonies - one intimate ceremony, and another short and light-hearted ceremony with all their guests!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2). Custom stickers and bags of petals for tossing during recessional - LOVED this for the celebratory photos!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3). A custom Moscow mule wall by to kick off the party, featuring the cutest copper mugs with etchings of their pups! The cups were taken home favors, and the wall was a rental.

4). Custom napkins with fun facts about Emmy and Pete - this was such a cute way for guests to learn more about them as they chatted over drinks and appetizers.

5). Place cards (even though they didn’t need them). Guests enjoyed a buffet, which doesn’t technically need assigned seating, but it’s always a nice touch for guests to not have to worry about where to sit. Plus, it just looked so clean and beautiful.

Which one is your favorite?

There’s nothing like seeing a design board come to love and designing a beautiful and meaningful tablescape!

Here’s a little secret though:
All of these tablescapes are from styled shoots, which means that they were designed only with a certain style in mind. We know that there are various factors that are involved in designing YOUR tablescape, like:
- Included inventory from your venue or catering (sometimes you want to use what you already have)
- Your budget
- Local rental companies (aka what’s actually available)
- Your dinner style (you’ll need different things depending on if your doing a buffet vs family style vs plated)
- And your style preferences (we love a good, cohesive design but it should be what YOU want and love)

9 things we loved about Hannah and Jake’s wedding (you’ll want to read these if you’re looking for fun ideas to add to your wedding):

1. The sunglasses they handed out and sported throughout the night - I mean look at those cool cats!!
2. The private vows during their first look when everything was quiet and calm. A great way to share an unforgettable moment together, without any pressure or spotlight.
3. The BOW on her wedding dress 🎀😍
4. The summery, muted pastel color palette and the mixed bridesmaid dresses - perfect for their July garden wedding!
5. All the candid moments - this comes from a great photographer and a great coordinator working together to build time in for moments to naturally unfold, instead of only scheduling posed photos.
6. The bow again!
7. The evening flat lays that shot, just chef’s kiss 💋 🧑🏼‍🍳
8. The moment alone together during sunset, frolicking in the gardens in (pure magic)
9. The “sparkler exit”! We definitely put this one in our back pocket, the combination of the fairy lights and the wands made great exit photos and everything we love about sparklers. Great for any weddings during fire season or at venues that don’t allow sparklers!
