In honor of my upcoming trip to Nashville, I thought I’d share Lilia and Nicks gorgeous day!! These two, now living in Nashville, came to Maine for a small coastal wedding with their closest people. We started off with I do’s at the iconic Portland Headlight and ended with an intimate dinner over looking the harbor. We(myself included) had the best day ever!!

Maddy, the real life version of Snow White in my eyes!! Not just because of her beauty, but so much more! Maddy and Derrick had little touches that you wouldn’t find anywhere else on their wedding day, like the milkweed seed packets(i’ll explain, this goes into the snow white theory), the handmade butterfly place cards, plus who needs a guest book when you’re having people sign quilt squares to make an entire blanket!! Oh, and don’t get me started on the 175 handmade napkins all made by the bride herself!!? These two were absolutely amazing for many reasons, but these handmade and personal touches just sent me right over the edge LOL!

Now, from one animal lover to another, sweet Maddy is set out to save our monarchs!! Her passion has led her to roadsides and fields to collect, raise, and release I’d guess hundreds of butterflies over her lifetime! It was only fitting that there would be a nod to butterflies throughout her wedding details. Hence the seed packets for people to grow milkweed, the place cards, and keep scrolling to see the last subtle touch if you look closely. (;

So much love for these two and the butterflies! Let that milkweed grow, don’t mow!!

Omgomg…!!! Tomorrow I’ll be on a plane to…THE SOUTH OF FRANCE!! I’m beyond excited as my soul has been loooonging for this fairytale setting i’m about to step into.(‘: Picture this: cobble stone streets lined with vibrant flower boxes with a baguette snug under my arm…yep, that’s where I’ll be to finish off my 20s🫢 I’ve planned the ultimate road trip around the providence of Burgundy where there is so much magic to be seen!! Okkkk, when Haley told me we had to go to her and Michael’s favorite spot in MA, I didn’t expect THIS! These cuties met at a college nearby and fell in love exploring places like the Crane Estate and Crane beach, understandably so! I love when couples suggest locations that mean something special to them.:) These places hold memories and I love playing a part in telling them!🥹

Taking it back to an intimate wedding in Boston- We spent the morning wondering through Brynn and Jess’s favorite parts of the city and after headed to the most beautiful and unique restaurant and venue! Where attention to detail could be found in every corner. And of course, the day couldn’t exclude their one and only puppy love, Finn!! When you haven’t seen the love of your life for months because you live in different countries…and you find him on a cliff side, your favorite song playing softly in the background, with roses in hand, you know what’s about to happen.🥹 One of the most beautiful moments I’ve captured for my dear friends!! I first visited Arizona about 6 years ago and immediately fell in love with places like Sedona and Antelope Canyon. Since my last visit 3 years back, I’d been dying to return. Well, last week I finally did!! Being able to photograph this stunning couple in an area I’ve never been was even more magical than I could have imagined!

🎉VOTED BEST PHOTOGRAPHER OF 207!!!🎉

Ahhh I could cry all over again sharing this.😭 I really don’t have the words that I wish I could to express what this means to me!! While I don’t know who nominated me(if you’re reading this, you’re an angel and I’m still in awe!) but I do know that once I shared it with you all, I received a slew of uplifting messages, support, and just a whole lot of love. That alone made me feel like a gold star!! I truly do have the most amazing clients who continue to turn from client, to friend, to family. I still can’t believe that some of you have been with me for the last 11 years…It’s a gift I will never take for granted you guys!! I love you all so much and am forever honored and filled with gratitude that I get to document your stories time after time. You make it all worth it. Sarah&Zen-The Wedding Day: I met Sarah and her bridesmaids in their cottage on site, where laughter and tears were exchanged throughout the morning.

From there all dressed up and ready to go, we met Zen among the dock and rocks where their first look and love was exchanged. And while the initial plan was to take a boat to the chapel where they’d say their I do’s, the high winds had other plans. But getting there by car didn’t diminish the absolute wonder this place was. A seaside chapel set on the rocky coast of Maine, with vibrant fall colors framing its structure. I was absolutely stunned by its beauty! I couldn’t help but stand back on the dock, rain pouring and all, to take it in. I’m so glad that I did, because sadly just like the fishermen shacks from their engagement, the dock and cross were taken to sea by the storm. This is why photographs really do hold so much value, as we look back on these moments in time that’ll never be seen again, only in photographs.

After an emotional ceremony, we returned to the venue to see the ball room completely transformed, an outfit change, and an unforgettable night. Check back in to see how the night unfolds.😍

Sarah&Zen || The Engagement&Rehearsal- These two are going to have their very own series because there’s just too much to share all in one post! We began their wedding week with their engagement session on a Tuesday, where they were wanting a location that captured the essence of classic Maine. And now since losing the 2 fishermen shacks to the storm, we’re both so grateful to have had documented their love here. The sky was one of the most beautiful of the season, bursting in light pastels and then transforming into deep oranges. We met as strangers and left feeling even more excited to see my friends again on Southport Island in just a few days.🥹 Fast forward to the rehearsal! Upon arriving to my room on a Friday, after driving through adorable harbors sprinkled in fishing boats and buoys, I was greeted with a generous welcome bag with the couples favorite snacks and more. If this doesn’t give you even more insight into how sweet this couple is?! Basically my heart burst and I felt like singing Disney songs off my balcony, feeling so loved and appreciated.🥲 Instead, I headed to their stunning venue, Newagen Inn, where their moonlit Lobster bake took place. I watched as they walked around to each table explaining to their guests how to eat lobster with laughter filling the air. I couldn’t help but to have a smile on my face feeling all the love that was being poured out. I imagined how beautiful tomorrow would be, as we’d witness these two commit their love to one another in an old chapel that sat high on the rocky coast of Maine. More on that tomorrow…:)

I can hardly sleep!! Tomorrow we start off Sarah and Zen’s Maine island weekend with a lobster bake for rehearsal and the biggest celebration of their love Saturday!! So grateful to be a part of this magical day to come😍 (I’m only a tad excited clearly!)

Chelsea&Ian’s enchanting wedding day✨

Something unique that these two did that I loved was have a mini ceremony with their wedding party and immediate family. Where they shared hand written vows and sweet tears. I loved the vulnerability and emotion this evoked as we were surrounded by tall pines, the lake and mountains that poked through the trees, and very sleepy pup.

Jet stole our hearts as she plopped herself right in the center of her humans, as they began to exchange their promises and love to one another. She offered comfort, encouragement, and an all around adorable moment that ties together who these two and their world truly represents.

This is why creating a wedding day filled with vendors that align with you and your vision, adding unique aspects that allows for vulnerability and connection with each other and your guests, and finding a venue that meets your needs, is sooo worth the effort! You want to feel like yourselves , no production necessary, no expectations. Just you, your love, and a dream. And I promise it’ll be unlike any wedding you’ve ever

There are so many things I could and want to say about this wedding! So I’m just going to go through them all:

We survived a hurricane warning that went from a fear of not getting any shots, taking some the night before just in case, to a stunning day and night!! I really thought I’d be able to say I’ve shot in a nor’easter AND a Hurricane.😂

The Stone Barn venue was just as magical as I hoped it would be and more! I truly felt like I was transported to Europe while I was inside and around the barn…it’s STUNNING and I’m so grateful to have shot there!

Mackenzie+Kyle are some of the sweetest, fun, genuine people to have worked with and it was all such a gift. (,:
