I'd love to connect with more of you!

THE BOOKS ARE OPEN FOR MINIS!

No pumpkins. No hay bales. No matching-khaki hostage situation. 🚫🎃

Just y’all, some gold Hill Country grass, and about 20 minutes of letting your kids be exactly as feral as they are.

(Exhibit A: the parents kissed. The children were HORRIFIED. I got it on camera. Swipe.)

Fall minis are open:
📅 Sun, Oct 11: the holiday-card date
📅 Sun, Oct 25: peak gold grass
📅 Sun, Nov 15: actual Texas fall color

Spots are limited and the October ones go first.

DM me or hit the link in bio. 🖤

Do I wanna do minis? After literally YEARS of avoiding them?

Maybe... I have some extra time this season...

Do I REALLY wanna do Minis?

I think so... connecting with more families would be cool....

SHOULD I do Minis?

Yeah, I should. Kids are fun, I have a good time doing them, and I think a few parents would be into it.

Minis? Anyone?
Three dates available:
October 11 and 25
November 15

Public service announcement from someone who does this math every single year. 📬

If you want holiday cards in mailboxes by mid-December:

Shoot in October → gallery by late October → order prints by mid-November → cards out the first week of December.

If you shoot in late November, you are gambling. Every year a few people gamble. Every year a few people text me on December 18th.

Family sessions start at $695. October is the month. 🍁

This is fall. Just… not here. 🍂

New blog post is up, and it’s the answer I give every single September when y’all ask me when to book fall photos in Austin.

Short version: not October. I’m sorry.

These frames are New England. Actual orchard, actual red maples, actual sweater weather — and nobody sweated through their outfit once. It was unnatural. I loved it.

Texas runs fall on its own weird schedule, so the guide breaks down the real calendar:

🕯️ September — fall is a candle
🌾 October — still hot, but the Hill Country grass goes gold and backlights like nothing else on earth
🍁 Nov 10–30 — the actual leaves. Bull Creek, McKinney Falls, Pedernales. Best light of the entire year.
📅 Plus the holiday card deadline, before it sneaks up on y’all again

Engagement sessions start at $695 and they’re free with most wedding collections. November books out first. Every year. Without fail.

Full guide — link in bio. Go read it before you put a sweater on in 88 degrees. 🍂

New site. Same too much. 🖤🩵🧡💚💛💜❤️

Three years of a website that made us sound like a stock photo of a handshake.
Done.✔️
Gone. 💨
Buried in the yard next to the good bones.🦴

The new thebohdecollective.com has: → Actual pricing, on an actual page, that you can read without emailing me for a PDF → A portfolio that isn’t 92 photos of the same beige field at the same beige golden hour → Build Your Own, if you want 5 hours and none of the fluff → Bohde, forever, on the About page, where he belongs

Go poke at it. 🖥️ 💻 📱

Tell me what’s broken. Link in bio.

We create the FOMO — now with better load times. ⚡️
