Y'all! Based on the emails I've been getting, there are folks who CLEARLY need to hear this....

While I am still accepting bids and contracts for portrait sessions and Holiday parties; We're NOT accepting contracts for Christmas or New Year. It's just NOT happening...

and I'm NOT sorry about it.

It's my daughter's first Christmas, and my family's first Christmas together in years. I'm not missing a second of it. I value this time with my family far too much.

I sincerely hope everyone has the happiest of Holidays!

I’m 40.

I feel like I should put something inspirational about life and lighthouses and reflection and whatnot….. I couldn’t find one that really reflects my thoughts on today. They were all about being a steadfast, constant pillar that draws ships home.

I’m NOT a steadfast pillar that draws numerous ships home.

I’ve often felt more like one of the ships; out at sea fighting against whatever God and Neptune throw at me, eager to find my way back to the light of what’s steadfast in my life. I guess that’s what life is like in your 20s and 30s🤣… navigating your world for the first time, hitting the rough seas, navigating the storms, all while looking for our own beacon to guide us.

I guess I’m entering the age where I’m less like one of the boats and more like a lighthouse?

Either way, it’s pretty cool being 40….
