Meet Team Black Tie!

✨Kimberly Retus, Executive Pastry Chef✨

Kim joined Black Tie 6 years ago and has taken our pastry game to the next level. She is head of the baking division and creates all of Black Tie’s baked goods for all of our locations and events. Prior to joining Black Tie, Kim worked as the sole baker at a local college for 10 years.

Fun Facts about Kim:
🍰Favorite Dessert: I prefer to make pastries (croissants, donuts, pretzels and breads). I enjoy most aspects of the bakery as well. We make such a variety of items, it stays exciting!
🍰Inspiration: I tend to see what trendy venues are up to and what flavors and designs are hot for the upcoming year.
🍰Current Favorite Trend: Nostalgic Desserts.
🍰I like to spend my spare time with my boyfriend, family and cats. I also like to play video games, craft, and tend to my flower garden.
