How's this for a grand entrance? 😄 After the ceremony, the couple hopped on a boat to cruise around Seattle's Lake Union while guests made their way to the reception venue for cocktail hour. EvenTide Lake Union @ Tyee is perfectly set up with a view of the lake from their balcony so with the photographers in place, guests cheered on the newlyweds as they made their way up from the boat dock. Fabulous way to start the party and also gives the couple 30 min to themselves to soak up officially being married.

Celebrations have always been a big deal to me, so I feel incredibly grateful to be in an industry centered around honoring love and milestones, while allowing me to feed my creativity. We are just a few short months away from our 2023 celebrations and although many things have changed in the event industry over the last couple of years, I am thrilled for what another year of events will bring.

Happy Monday, friends! Anyone else absolutely love fall?! For most of us in the event industry, fall means a break from back-to-back events and some extra time to reflect and grow our businesses.
As much as the slower pace is appreciated, don't be fooled that there isn't still a ton happening behind the scenes; planners are tackling details for future events, photographers are editing galleries, caterers are planning ahead for upcoming menus, etc....

It's year-round for us, but breathing in the fresh fall air as we conquer each day is 👌🏼. Thank you to the lovely clients that were a pleasure to work with this past year and the wonderful people on our calendars so far for next year! We can't wait for what's ahead.

We love sentiment around here! An exchange of wedding letters is a beautiful gesture that shouldn't be overlooked. With how jam-packed wedding days are, I advise you to take some time to write out your thoughts before the wedding and simply do a few mock photos of writing the letter on the actual wedding day. From there, either designate someone to deliver the letter to your fiancé and theirs to you, or read them to each other during first look. A special something that can later be framed or kept with your other wedding sentiments 😊

A look back at a golf themed Bar Mitzvah we had the pleasure of planning last winter. We love details around here and aim to incorporate them in whatever way we can while remaining tasteful. As part of our design, I created a logo that was fittingly used on things like the banner. I then created a simpler version to use on desserts, favors, and custom golf balls and we, along with the clients, couldn't be happier with how it all turned out.

Tip: avoid getting too carried away with initials, monograms, logos, etc, but light touches like these were the perfect way to represent the theme and surprise guests with some unexpected details.

Happy Friday, friends! I feel that I speak for most people when I say it's been a heck of a year so far. It seems we're all rushing from one thing to the next, and my goodness is the hustle real. I love seeing the support that comes from it, though. I try and make an effort on every call whether with an event pro or a client, to genuinely ask how they are doing before we jump into business. I thrive off of relationships and I find that this year more than any other is the year to connect with and sincerely check in on those that I have the privilege of working with. Cheers to building supportive relationships and the amazing events that we are producing! ❤️

There are countless moving parts when it comes to weddings and events. Planners are involved in every aspect of bringing those pieces together to create a smooth and seamless event. Thoroughly planning and understanding the details that pertain to each team involved may be tedious, but it's vital. Shoutout to every event pro who continues to put 100% into their events as though it were their first. A photographer that takes a few extra minutes to pose their clients rather than snapping away and hoping for the best. A florist that does a final check of their arrangements to ensure that every stem is properly in place. A Dj who knows exactly what's next and doesn't need a nudge for each transition. These are all details that matter. Thanks to all the event professionals that care as much as we do and don't hesitate to put in the required time and energy it takes to successfully execute an event.
