Hey flower lovers. I've been spending the past couple of days focusing on soft things. Things that calm my brain and nervous system like yarn, and knitting, and researching craft projects and recipes, and pondering unique and weird flower ideas for upcoming couples, and being in wonder at nature on my walks, and sitting and doing absolutely nothing. Because the truth is I'm worried and extremely energetically sensitive, and as the Italian Jersey Scorpio woman I am, quick to anger and rage when myself or people, particularly ones I care deeply about, need protecting. Passion is a double edged sword.

Instead of telling you how I found my way to flowers, why I'm a totally baddy at what I do, and a recap of my favorite flowers I just want to say this...
• Love will always win
• I will always stand with the greater LGBTQIA community. ALWAYS.
• I think our world would be a much more boring, less colorful, less thought provoking, less beautiful, less fun place without the LGBTQIA community. I love you.

I will be continuing to focus my energy on being soft, on bringing light, and on celebrating love as a radical act and as self preservation.

Imagine renting out an entire beautifully designed boutique hotel for just you and your friends/fam. Having a chill coffee and breakfast together in a beautiful library kitchen before heading out to an epic lake with Mountain View's and all the charm of small western town. Wrap up the evening with a locallly brewed beer, handmade crafts, and cozy old time feels.

And of course I'll be there to bring the modern western flower magic appear in front of your eyes and disappear without a sight.

Imagine transforming your own property into a breathtaking wedding venue — that's exactly what Ali and Shawn did for their lovingly intentional wedding day in Golden, Colorado. Ali's and Shawn spent over a year clearing trails and fields, renovating and painting their home, building a custom arch, and collecting the coolest vintage furniture to adorn their property and set the scene for their day. But after knowing them for the entirety their relationship one thing is clear... that's their couple super power, ANYTHING they decide on doing they do it and they do it with joy and grace.

The most special wedding flower days are the ones spent creating for the ones you love dearly. Ali and I have been best friends since we met in our college days, spending countless hours tearing up dance floors from NYC venues and festival fields together.(Swipe to see us tearing up the wedding dance floor for proof 😭) Adding color depth and texture to her wedding day through flowers was the best way I could pay her back for adding those things to my life.

It took me a while to share this one, but it will always be a fave. Congratulations to Ali and Shawn who are on to their next adventure together as they prepare for their first baby!

Whitney & Levi had a magical nature filled spring wedding day that was the perfect hybrid between wild elopement and micro wedding.

The first flush of local spring blooms in pastel peaches and yellows made this one extra special for me. Along with the fact that I was also their planner. Did you know I offer planning packages for elevated elopements? I do! And this is some of my favorite work of that kind.

Honestly... I don't think I've ever posted a flower girl photo and it's not because I don't think they are super cute or anything, there's usually just so many other flower focal points of a wedding day to share. But I literally couldn't help myself with these cuties from Matea & Luke's wedding day and the way they are rocking these flower crowns.

A friend asked me recently what flower is the first sign of Spring and I thought back to being a kid and how when the patches of daffodils that lined our yard finally bloomed I knew warmer days were coming.

Did you know that daffodils come in more colors that yellow and white? A wide variety of peach styles always capture my heart with whirling centers, perfect cups, or ruffled edges like the ones pictured here.

If you are having a spring wedding consider calling in warmer days with the humble daffodil as your primary wedding flower. Pair it with blooming branches for a seasonal and elegantly elevated look. This week I'll be featuring a daffodil wedding table scape and a daffodil centered bridal bouquet to inspire you... and maybe convince you that I should create some flower magic for your spring 2025 wedding!
