Our giant beauties are now lit! ⭐️🎄

After you are done enjoying the Parade of Lights in downtown Portland at 6:30, swing out to the fairgrounds until 9pm to check out the HoliJay Lights!

How many feet of lights and how many individual lights are on our big tree? Tell us your best guesses in the comments! 😆

🎉🎉We are excited to announce that the Jay County Fair has been awarded a grant for strategic planning from The Portland Foundation ! This generous support will help us shape the future of our fair, ensuring it continues to grow and serve our community.

In the coming months, we will be working with Dr. Bonnie R. Maitlen of BR Maitlen and Associates to guide this process. We are grateful for the opportunity and look forward to what lies ahead!

We are so excited to have this beautiful, HUGE Christmas tree for you all to enjoy while Cruz'n the HoliJay Lights at the Fair this year. More details to come in regards to Lighting up the Tree. In the meantime, enjoy watching it make it's trek through Portland and delivered to the fairgrounds!

Wow! We had an amazing turnout for the first night of the Christmas lights! While not on the calendar, the lights will be turned back on tonight, Sunday November 17th from 6-9pm.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!🎄🤶🎅

This weekend is the first chance to see the lights at the fairgrounds!! We have several new displays and a brand-new route through the grounds! If you happen to go through the lights this weekend, you will want to come back as we are still working on several exciting displays!!

Below is the schedule for gate workers. Each night, the gate workers will receive 25% of the donations from that night! We are grand that we can help other youth groups during the holiday season

We want to extend a huge thank you to a couple of amazing local businesses for their generous donations and services that are making our infield renovation a reality!

👏 Shaver Field Services is stepping up to remove the old fencing and judges tower, and we can’t thank them enough for their hard work!

🔧 High Fence Solutions will be donating their expertise to install new fencing along the derby wall, helping to enhance safety at the fairgrounds.

Your contributions are invaluable to our community, and we’re thrilled to see the transformation of our fairgrounds. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to improve our facilities! 🙌

Fall Clean-Up Demolition Derby! Join us on October 20th at the Jay County Fairgrounds for a thrilling day, hosted by McAfee Recycling and the Jay County Fair. All proceeds benefit the Jay County Fair Infield Project! 🗓️ Date: October 20th ⏰ Time: 1:00 P.M. 📍 Location: Jay County Fairgrounds 🎟️ Tickets: Box Seats: $25 Pit Pass & Grandstand Seat: $20 (access to both!) 🛻 Truck parking will be available along the fence on the day of the event. 💥Plus, don't miss the Power-wheels races at the start of the event!💥 Interested in sponsoring?
