On December 14th, Todd Skirvin made the selfless decision to step down from his position on the Jay County Fairboard, choosing to make way for someone who could dedicate more time to the organization. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for everything Todd has done—and will continue to do—for the Fair and the community.

On Monday, January 20th, the Fairboard met and held a thorough discussion regarding potential candidates. After careful consideration, we are excited to announce that Josh Stewart has been approved to fill the remainder of Todd’s term.

We are proud to share that Dillon Muhlenkamp was elected as the Indiana Association of Fairs Director for District 2 South this past weekend!

We’re thrilled to see Jay County once again represented at the state level, and we’re excited about the positive impact Dillon will have on fairs across the district. Congratulations, Dillon!

The Commercial Review released their top 10 photos of 2024 and we loving seeing the Jay County Fair having the top spot!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all the support during this year’s Christmas Lights at the Jay County Fairgrounds! Thanks to you, over 2,500 cars drove through to enjoy the lights and spread holiday cheer. 🌟

We are thrilled to announce that because of your generosity, we will be donating over $3,200 to local youth groups in our community! 💕

Your support makes this event such a success year after year, and we couldn’t do it without you. Thank you for helping us light up the season and make a difference in the lives of our youth. In the coming months we will be posting information for purchasing new displays, which if purchased through us can receive a 40% discount!

📣 Jay County Fair Annual Meeting Update 🎡

Today, the Jay County Fair held its annual meeting, where Aaron Loy, David Bricker, Trent Paxson, Bubba Swoveland, and Dillon Muhlenkamp were re-elected to serve on the board for the next three years.

Following the annual meeting, the board held its reorganization meeting and re-elected the following officers:
➡️ Aaron Loy – President
➡️ Jeremy Lewis – Vice President
➡️ Dillon Muhlenkamp – Secretary
➡️ Travis Theurer – Treasurer

We also want to extend our gratitude to Todd Skirvin, who resigned from the board after two years of dedicated service. Thank you, Todd, for all your contributions! Todd's replacement will be finishing his term, which expires at the end of 2025.

Tonight, we have a special addition to the HoliJay Lights! Fellowship Baptist Youth Group will be there to greet you and then Portland Church of the Brethren will be there caroling as well. 🎼🎄

It may be cold outside 🥶🧊, but tonight and tomorrow will be beautiful nights to drive through the fairgrounds to see all of the Christmas lights!🎄

Both nights will be open from 6pm-9pm and the Fellowship Baptist Youth Group will be working the gate. They will receive 25% of the free will donations given

Reminder as you drive through the fairgrounds this month that we have barriers throughout the grounds to help with the Christmas lights. We have had several gates that have been ran over in the past couple weeks.

Please pay extra attention while driving through the grounds.
