It’s that time of year again! Summer is over and it’s time to start getting cozy! 🦦🧦☕ (I can’t believe it’s already November?!)

That means I’ll be making evergreen wreaths again SOON and can’t wait to share them with you! All wreaths will have a grapevine base with a mix of gorgeous local greens and dried bits and bobs. Each wreath will be unique - handmade by me with materials from local farms.

Wreaths are just $69 for local pick up! (or $74 with delivery)

Ordering is super simple:

Happy new year! I had grand plans of a 2021 recap since there are so many lovely weddings I didn’t post. But that is feeling less likely by the minute, and I do want to acknowledge all of you here on Instagram, and all of my amazing couples.

This year was challenging in many ways, but over and over again I was blown away by how amazing you all are and how fun the work was. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who supported us by ordering valentines flowers and holiday wreaths, and who trusted us with your weddings! You allowed us to keep surviving this pandemic with so much less stress than might have been. And you gave me the chance to get creative with your amazing ideas. I’m so so thankful!

One of my goals this past year was to have more fun in the midst of the wedding day work - to be less critical of myself + the tiny details that weren’t exactly what I envisioned. I don’t want to end up burnt out or falling out of love with this work. And I believe we found success in that this year! I learned a lot about myself and how I relate to work, and we really did have more fun. It seems like a goal of such privilege, which I acknowledge. It’s a privilege to be able to take the risks required to have your own business. And then to ask of it to be more fun?! Sometimes that’s hard for me, because fun feels less serious, and less serious might mean mistakes or less quality work… but that’s not necessarily true. We can do a good job and still have fun! And ultimately, that brings me more freedom, which leads to more creativity and ultimately a better result.

Anyway, if you’re still reading, thank you haha. I don’t know my goals for 2022 yet, but I know we have more weddings booked than usual by January, and everyone is SO RAD that I know this year is going to bring some really fun and creative work. Hopefully I’ll actually share it online 😂

Well, Josh is back at the office, so I’m left to my own devices to take cheesy photos 😂 But pre-ordered wreaths are heading out this week! And are available for pickup! I’ll try and DM you all to make sure timings are good, but we are pretty flexible and want to get them to you to enjoy ASAP 💚

Detailed bits are so fun. For weddings and for holidays! This year we probably aren’t doing quite as much for our own home - there not the time to craft like there was last year, and we are fortunate to be able to be spending our Christmas with family out of state (thank you vaccine!!).

Hey! 👋 Its been a bit since I did any sort of introduction. I’m Alli, the owner and lead designer of Bramble. And yes, I do regularly gaze lovingly at my plants and flowers and feel like they are my beloved pets 🤣

I also used to be religious about posting regularly on Instagram, and I don’t much any more. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But if you follow along I’m likely to keep you somewhat updated through stories about current weddings and what’s growing in my garden. I see Instagram as a great way to share current work and hopefully get you inspired for your wedding (or for flowers in general), so hopefully, as the world continues to open and weddings start looking normalish, I’ll go back to sharing more regularly.

Also, the holidays are just around the corner (😱) so keep an eye out for news regarding seasonal favorites coming soon!!

Two years today you’ve been gone.

I went out and cut all the purple flowers in my yard today. I was going to set up a cute place to take a pic of them, and then thought nah. Tracy was always a “come as you are” sort of person. All love and acceptance and “that’s what she said” jokes. So, here are some purple flowers in honor of the best sister in the universe, in my messy living room, seen from my couch where I’m not really getting anything done 💜

Hey friends, I know many of you are waiting on emails, replies, proposals - all the things. I had hoped to have more ability to catch up on those things, but back to back weddings for 6 weeks has been a lot for me to readjust to. And for those who know the grief journey, birthdays and deathaversaries really take it out of you. I want to be available and help get you amazing people booked and ready to go for next year, because your weddings are really important to me, but I’m trying to balance that with pandemic life stress and my sister’s birthday today. My body is telling me to take a pause, so I’m going to listen. Thanks for understanding. Life’s weird and complicated, and work can’t be everything 💛

It’s been hard sharing past work this year, with weddings on hold and personal inspiration and motivation for this space running thin. But this very warm pink wedding felt happy for valentines week!

And... there is actually a wedding on the horizon! I don’t want to speak too soon but it does feel like weddings are back! We’ll be working at this same venue in just over a month and it feels so surreal!
