The Hill Arts ME The Hill Arts is a non-profit venue featuring unique performance based events. St. Lawrence Church and return it to use as an arts center. The St.

Lawrence Arts is owned and operated by the non-profit corporation Friends of the St. Lawrence, a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization created in 1996 to restore the historic St. Lawrence has a 3-part mission:

Arts & Culture: creating an affordable and accessible venue for a diverse offerings of arts including but not limited to theater, dance, music, film, and workshops;

Neighborhood & Community:

adding activity, entertainment, cultural enrichment, social interaction, renovation and investment that serves both the surrounding neighborhood of Munjoy Hill as well as the residents of Greater Portland. Historic Preservation: rehabilitating this local and national landmark with the adaptive reuse as an arts center.

Viva Vivid Motion!

Our dear delivery driver is signing off (get it? 'cuz he needed signatures? đź“ť) which means that's a wrap for our smash hit, Holly Jolly Follies!

Thank you to all who::
~ came to watch
~ danced
~ told their people about this incredible, fun, sexy show
~ choreographed enchanting and humorous dances
~ dreamed and conceptualized an entirely new and original burlesque show
~ scritchy-scritchy-scratched hot tracks all night AND then pop-n-locked
~ stayed late to find our special guest, The Rogue Gauntlet
~ swept hundreds of feathers off the stage every night
~ picked Things up and put Things down
~ called “PLACES” approximately 3,843 times
~ lit up the stage with magic
~ kept us fed and hydrated
~ imagined, created, designed, sewed, dyed, loaned costumes
~ built, made, painted sets
~ fashioned, fabricated, shared props
~ took care of our viewing community in the lobby at the box office and concessions

We love and appreciate you more than we can ever verbally express! đź’ś (Interpretive dance coming soon.)

Join Vivid Motion at The Hill Arts this weekend December 13th - 15th and next weekend December 19th - 21st for The Holly Jolly Follies Burlesque show!!

Mark your calendars - Portland’s longest running burlesque tradition is bringing a whole new show to town! Vivid Motion Dance’s latest original show follows an intrepid delivery person attempting to deliver all their packages in time for the holidays ~ and inadvertently landing themselves in fun and frisky situations. Co-directed by Jessica Jane Means & MZ and with live mixes from DJ Thunder (Bruce Tracy), you’re sure to discover all new ways to be both naughty and nice this holiday season.
