Rapper, entrepreneur, and fashion designer Akasha Rec, the mama of Namaslay Collective, will be rocking our stage at our New Years' celebration ◖RE:NEW 2023◗ 2 Nights of New Year Activation on 2 Stages . ⚡️

One of the first Indian female artists to fusion various genres, cultures, and ‘taboo’ topics, Akasha uniquely blends her two worlds together - the hip-hop culture from her hometown of LA with her traditional Indian heritage. 🇮🇳

A daughter of two immigrants, Akasha has created her own lane of sound and established herself internationally as an icon, often refers to as "The Indian hip-hop princess." 👑

In just a few days - the dancefloor of our ◖RE:NEW 2023◗ 2 Nights of New Year Activation on 2 Stages celebration will get extra magical when Scott Nice gets the decks, not too long after we enter 2023 together. ✨

Informed by his personal healing journey, Northern California producer Scott Nice will bring his union of electronic & acoustic sounds to move our bodies and feed our souls.

Indigenous prayers, flute, and hand drum samples are a hallmark of Scott's sound while the juxtaposition of his hip-hop turntablist roots creates a one-of-a-kind dance journey.

Since 2016 Scott has released 6 full-length albums working with many amazing collaborators such as El Buho, Mose, Poranguí, Alex Serra, Liquid Bloom, The Polish Ambassador, Ayla Nereo, Wildlight, Uji, Yemanjo, Volo, DJ Taz Rashid, Equanimous, and many more.

This year’s Re:New poster art is ‘Paradox’ by Autumn Skye (last image) ✨

Canada-based artist Autumn Skye’s paintings are inspired by the wonders of the natural world and the beauties of humanity.

She shares:
“I believe that the role of the artist is especially crucial at this challenging and exciting time. While the world is at the precipice of momentous change, artworks have the potential to be maps, and these maps can help guide humanity forward into new and positive ways of seeing and being. Through creativity, we have the opportunity to transmute shadow and pain into visions of healing and wholeness.

I offer my artwork as a mirror, both an intimate personal reflection and a grand archetypical revelation. Within these visions, may each viewer recognize their own sacred heart and cosmic divinity. And, through this recognition, may we remember the innate grace that dwells within.”

We are beyond excited to finally bring to Portland the one and only - ASADI! Accompanied with a variety of traditional & electronic musical instruments, and the talented singer XYE - we are in for a magical journey on Dec 30th at our New Year celebration - Re:New. ✨

ASADI is a Persian-American music producer & performance artist. He is known for his enchanting middle eastern fusion sound and eclectic live performances.

ASADI’s artistry is derived from a lifetime passion for writing songs. He started learning the piano at the age of 5; In high school, his parents gifted him with a drumpad and Persian instruments he never knew existed. This flipped a switch which birthed the 10-year voyage to who he is today.

Today, ASADI records and performs with instruments such as the Persian Setar, Persian Tar, Persian Daf, and the Italian Mandolin. He brings these delicate sounds to life when activating his drum machine, in which he effortlessly triggers his entire rhythm section completely live on 16 electronic pads.

Devoted to music, he spends thousands of hours perfecting his craft. His constant desire to create extraordinary music, a precious die-hard following (~500k on Instagram) has inevitably grown to represent the sound of ASADI Worldwide.

We are very excited to bring the gifted producer and performer Skysia to Portland to move our bodies and spirits on Dec 30th. ✨

Forgoing electronic music’s inherent heaviness for a spiritualized serenity and elegant song craft, Skysia fuses elements of melodic bass, experimental bass, and modern downtempo into a euphonious sound. The producer/composer often reveals a minimalist, deliciously danceable style; his translucent low-end theory is rich in musicality and steeped in dreamy psychedelia. Born Tanner Allen, Skysia is a self-taught pianist, filmmaker, and production wizard. He mines earthy textures and unveils emotive tones, sonically expressing the delicate balance between darkness and light. His crisp, clear compositions invoke the sacred and sexy, humbly channeled through medicinal bass music. Drawing inspiration from global dancefloor pioneers like Bonobo and CloZee. Before embarking on a musical journey on the West Coast scene, Allen studied production techniques at the esteemed Point Blank Music School in London.

We are grateful and honored to once again partner with Water 4 Life Global Inc for our upcoming Re:New New Year’s event. W4L is an outstanding organization that we have been excited to support during our shows and events this year. At next weekend’s Re:New, we will be donating $3 of every Late-Night ticket sale to Water for Life.

Water 4 Life Global is a 501(c)3 nonprofit working to provide indigenous peoples in Guatemala with access to clean water. Their on-the ground initiatives provide water filters, job opportunities, education programs, reforestation partnerships, and natural sanitation options for families and communities.

At Re:New we will be hosting three artists from Lotus Lab! On New Years Eve, Enigma Beats will be taking the stage, and on Sunday night Geometrae and Noetik the Alchemist are bringing the heat!

Lotus Lab has a crew of unique and talented individuals who have been blowing up the California underground bass scene. Now the team is ready to showcase their talent again live, after a couple years of no events and countless hours in the production studio.

Geometrae produces a blend of world music into a psychedelic universe. The musical journey Geometrae provides leaves the particles in your body feeling light and vibrating for hours after. We are once again honored to co-create with Enthea Teahouse for this year’s NYE Event! The Enthea Tea Lounge has become a staple of our events and we are so excited to sit at sip with you all again.

The Enthea Teahouse is a local tea house that serves and sells Gongfu Tea sourced directly from multigenerational farmers in China. The teahouse itself is open Wednesdays through Sundays with special weekly offerings of Friday Night “Speakteasy” gatherings and monthly Enthea After Dark community events with live music.

At this year’s Re:New 2022 Activation, we invite you to sit with us over tea, share space and stories, and be in presence of the magic of gongfu.

Our Halloween event, Ritual 2021, is also a fundraiser for 💧🌎

Water 4 Life Global is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization working on the ground in Guatemala to provide indigenous communities with access to clean water. Their clean water initiatives include the distribution of water filter technology, collaboration on biological water treatment plans, and contributions towards the reforestation of Lake Atitlán. 🌋

Living Prism has collaborated with the amazing people of to create a donation-based kombucha lounge at Ritual, with 100% of all income going towards Water 4 Life Global towards purchasing water filters.
