I was in a bit of heaven getting to document a few hours of their Labor Day Festival events ☀️

Heather brings & crew to the stage on Labor Day every year.

The entire Dahlias Team was working hard nonstop & it was such a privilege to be in the background, documenting them do their thang + various people enjoying music, food, & gorgeous flowers.

☀️☀️ Sunshine Station is in the making: My sister lost her son Walker Ray at 8 days this year, and she’s building the village so many moms need, thru her business: you don’t wanna miss it.

☀️I am not currently in a place where I can invest as much as I’d like to so am raffling off a family Photoshoot with the goal of being able to invest AT LEAST $1,000 into her business. That’s 50 total raffle tickets.

M A I N E ✈️ It’s been a wild 3-4 weeks, but I MADE IT TO MAINE.

JASMINE | YOUR INTUITIVE BUSINESS COACH]] has been flying me all over the US since 2018 to photograph the phenomenal retreats she provides for her mastermind clients.

I will never forget any of these trips, but especially that first one to Hollywood, CA.

She told me she will be flying me all over for years, if I’m up for it. It sounded too good to be true, & I couldn’t even wrap my head around it.

5 years later & I’ve met dozens of the some of the most good-hearted, skilled, inspiring, kind women entrepreneurs through JASMINE | YOUR INTUITIVE BUSINESS COACH]]’s retreats for them.

I’ve gotten to offer them headshot & mini mini brand photo sessions + video, and many of them…for their FIRST TIME. They’d never stepped foot in front of the camera for just them, or it had been years to decades (think: high school).

Being able to create a safe space for people in front of my lens has always driven me deeper into photography— being seen & feeling held is rare.

I know personally how vulnerable it can be having your photos taken, & every single time I hear, “Wow you made that way better/easier/more fun than I was expecting” I could do a shimmy.

In all I do, let there be love. If my life is not a song of love offering to others, it is just a noisy gong.

I’m grateful to be here in Maine, ready to meet more new & see familiar faces, & document a powerful week while being in high-vibe energy + learning from the most genius business brain ever (JASMINE | YOUR INTUITIVE BUSINESS COACH]] obv).

You aren’t ready to put your face on video yet? I’ve got you! Video content is growing brands reach higher & faster than static imagery. Especially on IG & Pinterest. A complaint I hear alllll the time in my DMS or on our post branding-session strategy calls is: “I’m just not ready to hop on video yet.” We can work through that (ego 😬) mindset stuff but as you’re working through that, still utilize video! Long ago before I began creating my own stock images, I used a website named Pexels to snag free stock images. Pexels.com now provides a videography library! You can literally download any of the images or videos, add them into a Canva (I used @canva for this post!), & use the movement to your content so the algorithm gives your important info a boost.
