The Boston Globe Busing at 50 event included many different elements of design to create a cohesive environment from the article in the Boston Globe itself all the way through to the program stage. The florals that adorned the tables and stage created the pop of yellow similar to the yellow on the page. Limited-edition posters surrounding the event highlighted key moments from that monumental day 50 years ago, creating a lasting memento of the evening’s significance. The stage was a focal point; featuring stunning gold furniture and a dynamic display of historical images and beautiful florals setting the perfect scene for such an important conversation.

We had the privilege of planning the The Boston Globe Busing at 50 event at the Bruce C. Bolling Building in Roxbury, MA last month that was the culmination of an extensive 17-page editorial spread in the newspaper. The event focused on telling the stories of what happened fifty years ago when buses were desegregated in Boston and how that is still impacting life in Boston and the surrounding towns today. The program consisted of two panels. The first featured attorneys and children involved first hand with the Garrity decision including some students who were there that first day. The second panel featured current-day leaders in the city of Boston, including the mayor, and they discussed the challenges the city still faces fifty years later. We would like to say a huge thank you to the Boston Globe team for bringing us in to help plan such an important conversation. It was truly an honor.

In late June, The Elliot celebrated 35 years of neonatology at their NICU reunion, welcoming over 500 who were cared for by the Elliot NICU over the past five years. To capture the summer vibes, we went all out with a bright beach theme, complete with beach balls, pails, and shovels as giveaways. Kids had a blast with activities like meeting princesses, giant inflatable games, face paintings, glitter tattoos, coloring, and just enjoying free play. It was a joy to help make this special event happen, allowing families to reunite with the amazing NICU team. Thank you, Elliot, for letting us be part of this magical day!

Due to its exponential growth the Meeting in the Millyard conference for ARMI BioFabUSA was moved into 150 Dow Street and it was transformed into the ideal conference space. By moving to this new larger space, we were able to better communicate the mission of the event and the organization while highlighting the area home to the new Regen Valley. Guests could feel and see the expansion of this conference and the excitement that builds every year when they entered the general session space and saw the outline of Regen Valley’s buildings along the back of the stage. We had a great time working together with the ARMI team to create all of the new elements of the event and we can not wait to see what next year brings!

Another exceptional Meeting in the Millyard with ARMI BioFabUSA! The 2024 MITM, a three-day event in Manchester's Millyard brought together top biotechnology companies from across the country to exchange ideas and updates that will transform future treatment plans for many common health issues. The days were filled with panels, keynote speeches, and networking, while the evenings featured festivities, a trivia night, and more networking opportunities. The finches love migrating down to Manchester, and this keeps us in town for a few days! Thanks to the wonderful ARMI team for always entrusting us and allowing us to help share the progress that will drive our future.

This year at the Community Action Partners of Strafford County’s annual meeting guests were able to collect “huggy hearts”; a fundraising enhancement created to help drive attendees to learn more about the programs they were there to support. As attendees visited program tables they were able to purchase hearts and the funds would be donated directly to the programs that helped those in need! During the event’s program we were able to hear from some of the amazing residents of Covered Bridge Manor and their experience through the senior living program and how CAPSC has helped them! These were some fantastic ways to learn more about what CAPSC does to support the community of Strafford County and encourage attendees to lend a helping hand.

Books were the foundation of theming for Literations’ “Lighting the Spark” event, including: mission, venue and branding. More Than Words, a bookstore in Boston, was chosen not just for its functionality as a venue but also because it perfectly complemented the theme, surrounding guests with books and literacy charm. We also used a step and repeat to invoke nostalgia by asking guests to share their favorite childhood books on whiteboards and have their pictures taken with them. We offered guests the opportunity to purchase books that would be sent to all of the 16 program sites for students to use when learning to read and when donated, guests signed a bookplate that will live within the book as a reminder of their support. Thank you Literations for allowing us to join your team and embrace your mission!

As their executive director, Wes Enicks, beautifully quoted “Behind every leader is a reader. behind every leader, there was someone to light the spark.” Literations is an organization full of mentors ready to light the spark for children striving to reach their literacy goals within Boston Public Schools. The “Lighting the Spark” event shared with attendees the impact that volunteers have on the children they educate, and the impact of the organization on the Boston community as a whole. Thank you to Literations for allowing us to be apart of such a special event, we have loved working with your team!

Exciting details about the 2024 SCUIF Gala are here, and we couldn't be more thrilled to share! It was an evening packed with fun, inviting each guest to let their imaginations soar. We envisioned the true impact of what support could do for our communities and set out to create an atmosphere filled with wonder; all the while maintaining a sophisticated tone. Our tables were elegantly monochromatic, with pops of two secondary colors complementing the primary brand color of SCU Impact Foundation, purple. Each table was adorned with sponsored lollipops and sweet treats; a playful nod to the childhood tradition of indulging in sweets before dinner, complete with an enticing "eat me" sign. In Bloom brought our vision to life with stunning decor that added an extra layer of enjoyment to every space. Special thanks to Boston Circus Guild for elevating the event even further with next level entertainment, specifically, the champagne dress moment for VIP and the visual POI—a mesmerizing act featuring LED wands that illuminated the SCUIF and presenting sponsors' logos. While we could dive into every delightful detail of the event, there's so much more to explore on our website. Head to the link in our bio. to discover more about the evening!

The 2024 Service Credit Union Impact Foundations Gala was truly unforgettable, with its wonderland-esque theme where our goal was to transform our wildest community possibilities into positive realities. Throughout the evening, one sentence resonated deeply: “Imagine the possibilities when we provide a roof overhead for our neighbors in need.” We encouraged guests to envision a world where homelessness and food insecurity no longer exists in our communities, a reality Service Credit Union Impact Foundation helps provide through affordable housing initiatives. While this ideal may not be fully realized yet, stepping into the SCUIF gala offered a glimpse into a promising avenue for achieving affordable housing in our communities. Thank you to the SCUIF team and Sarah Kuhl for entrusting the Finches to help create an evening that showcased your impactful work in our communities! With each step we made, a difference was made in our community, helping provide a roof overhead for our neighbors in need.

At the gala, we designed an immersive experience where guests could contribute at four different levels to support the women and children of HHH. Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to fill the tree with hope, creating a stunning display while providing essential items for clients in need.

Our talented graphic designer, Abby, collaborated closely with motifs from 's event design to craft a collection of graphics tailored for their 4th annual gala. Seamlessly weaving their brand standards into the floral elements, Abby branded everything from raffle tickets to meal cards for guests, ensuring that each element carried a unique and cohesive touch. The result was a visually stunning and harmonious representation of mission and values, enhancing the event's impact and leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.

Utilizing brand colors throughout your event is a wonderful way to introduce your guests to your mission subtly and to give focus to your overall design. Every event detail enhances your message, from the color of your table linens to the welcome signage as guests enter the space. Take each design opportunity and think about always putting the mission first; taking advantage to share your organization’s story in as many ways as possible throughout the event. You never know what might spark the interest of a new donor or what might speak to an existing and loyal volunteer.

More details from as promised! We helped curate the Globe New Hampshire’s first “political house party” focusing on giving an in-depth look into the NH primary.
Our granite staters filled the room and had an amazing time meeting and mingling over hors d’oeuvres, and beverages.
Guests had the opportunity to ask the Globes reporters hard hitting questions and thanks to , we were able to run the program flawlessly and run mics to all the many hands in the room.
So grateful to the team for bringing our team in for their inaugural event in NH. It was a fantastic and informative evening for us all and it was so much fun to plan! A beautiful kickoff to 2024 event season🥳
