A great review: "We rented Jonathan's place for a church retreat. We were a very large group and this place was just perfect. Jonathan and his team were very attentive to our needs and answered any questions we had very quickly. They are great! The location is secluded - which adds to the beauty and quiet and amazing star gazing! (We saw the Milky Way for the first time in a long time!) The lake is beautiful and the kayaking was wonderful and several of our people enjoyed fishing. We did have issues connecting with the internet but we were able to connect through the hot spots on our phone (again - very secluded!). There were enough beds for everyone and lots of gathering spaces to accommodate many different conversations and activities. There were more than enough seats for all of us at the huge dining room table - which looked out over a beautiful view. The spacious great room had enough space for all of us to watch TV (lots of movie channels!) and play pool. The kitchen was well equipped and great for gathering while preparing food. We especially loved eating on the patio under the beautiful trees. The history and location and views added to the experience! We cannot recommend this place enough. It is worth the drive! (Also, if you are by chance a bird watcher - bring your binoculars! Lots of varieties! )"
