EXCITING NEWS! Remember the old Grand Hotel in Poughkeepsie? New owners! New look! Multimillion dollar renovations! It's now DoubleTree Poughkeepsie by Hilton and it is GORGEOUS!!! I got a call last week and today we shook hands, signed some papers and made it official. I'll be there to bring in the new year and make this a night to remember! We'll have dancing, watch the ball drop, I'll have my photo booth and OMG... look at that menu! Oh and no driving home... Get a room! Incident Update: Facade Damage Due to High Winds

Today, a small section of the DoubleTree Hotel's facade was damaged as a result of the high winds in the area. We are relieved to report that no injuries occurred, and the damage sustained was superficial in nature.

Our priority remains the safety and well-being of our guests, staff, and the community. While this incident is unfortunate, we want to assure everyone that there has been no disruption to our day-to-day operations, and the hotel remains fully operational and open for business.

We are currently collaborating closely with our corporate engineers and trusted contractors to swiftly address the damage and restore the affected section of the building to its pristine condition.

At DoubleTree, we take the maintenance and upkeep of our properties seriously, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and comfort for all those who visit us.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the local authorities for their prompt response and assistance during this time. We also appreciate the understanding and support of our guests and the community as we work to resolve this matter efficiently.
