The fall season really kicked my butt here…I hope everyone is enjoying the amazing weather we’ve been having, we are editing away and enjoying a little bit of a breather from the crazy fall season. 3 weddings left for the season. Hoping to be better and more consistent on here now that we’re slowing down thankfully 🤪

Just me over here dreaming of editing an entire wedding in black and whites. There is something about black and white photography that just speaks to me, the drama of it, the lack of color…I absolutely adore it. Are you a big fan of black and whites?

I always love when a sibling of a past client comes back to us, it’s great to catch up with the family and see how much has changed in their lives in that period of time since…but its also a great reminder that these people trust you, they love your vision, your art and you have made a connection with these folks…beyond the artistic part of photography, that is what I truly love about weddings, getting to connect with people ✌🏼

Let’s talk black and white photos for a minute shall we? I know we live in a day and age of color and with photography specifically there are so many different styles and looks…but to me black and whites are simply timeless…no matter if you want a more matte black and white like this which excludes elegance or a more punchy dramatic contrast black and white that says drama…I promise you, in 5, 10 years those black and whites will be among your favorites!

One of my favorite ceremony moments is when a couple stops in the middle or at the top of the aisle for another celebratory moment like this one. There’s so many things you can do… a dip like this photo here, a simple kiss, a hug, cheer with your guests and throw your arms into the air…just celebrate that ahhhhh moment. I promise you the photos won’t disappoint!

I love a good closeup of the bride coming the aisle with her dad don’t get me wrong but when you have beautiful scenery like this at you need those wides too! Gives it more of a documentary style as well! 👌

Talk about an exit!!! Chris surprised Heather the day of by leaving their wedding on a boat, we used the ruse that we needed a few more photos and off to the dock we went. This is going to be an amazing way to end their video 🤙🏼
