It has been a minute! Actually, it’s been months since I’ve jumped on and posted, and that’s because I have been BUSY creating the most beautiful and personal events for our clients. I simply couldn’t let this week pass by without jumping on to say THANK YOU! Thank you to our amazing 2023 clients who made this year so special, thank you to our incredibly talented vendors who pushed their creativity and mine this season, I am so grateful for the incredible collaborations I had with talents like … thank you to our incredibly talented photographers who captured these weddings (I promise to share your beautiful images soon) and to our amazing venues for the privilege to work in their beautiful spaces .ny and Finally, to my amazing team without whom, I could not bring these beautiful events to life … and the incredibly talented for capturing an image of me that I’m not too shy to share! Thank you all 💕 I am so grateful!

This week has reminded me more than ever of the importance of family portraits. We lost our grandfather this week. A man that was larger than life. A brilliant entrepreneur, businessman and philanthropist. For my husband and I, he is … he set the bar extremely high, and we’ll never stop climbing to make him proud.

This week, as our family has been sharing photos, so many are of smiles, dancing and laughter captured at family weddings… some I’ve planned, and many that came before us… so while you make your shot list, make sure you take advantage of the special opportunity to capture your family… ask your photographer to be sure to capture your grandparents (candids and portraits). They will not be too tired to take a photo… they’ve looked forward to your big day… be sure to capture them!! 💔Rest in Peace Herbie, we love you 😘

Today, we officially sold our first home… it’s a weird feeling, a mix of excitement for what’s to come, happiness for the new owners (friends), and a bit of sadness as we say goodbye to the house where our story began. We bought this house two weeks before we got married (at 25 and 27) with hand-me-down furniture and empty rooms waiting for the babies we hoped to fill them with. 10 years, 2 kids, 2 businesses and a lot of life in between, it’s bittersweet to say good bye. It was only fitting to have our friend and wedding photographer take these family photos for us… she was there on day one, and we are so grateful to her for capturing these shots, marking the next chapter… looking forward with excitement, and looking back with gratitude and love 💕
