What are you doing to celebrate Mom this Mother's Day? We have an idea for the mom's who have everything. One of the best things you can offer is the gift of time (and flowers).
How about bringing mom out to the farm where she can pick out some gorgeous dahlia tubers. Take time to explore the farm. Then, take her home to plant up her flower tubers. Dahlias will begin blooming mid-summer through first frost. She will think of you every time she passes by her flower patch.
Short on time? Shop ahead by visiting our website https://www.courtercountryfarm.com/shop-3.
Looking for something fun to do with friends, co-workers or your partner? Love fresh farm flowers, baby bunnies and baby goats? We will be open this Friday and Saturday evening for ADULTS ONLY to come play on the farm and build a bouquet. Choose from our flower bar or stroll the fields and pick-your own. $20/bouquet. BYOB and make it a picnic.
Come help us plant. #poulsbofarm
It's been a long winter and we have missed our friends on the farm. And while we are still knee deep in getting the farm planted up for the season, we are ready for our visitors. Your smiling faces are what feed our souls. We are opening tomorrow 3/20 to our egg and tomato plant customers, 10am -3pm. Of course you can bring the kids out to play while you are here. We have a smaller breed of rabbit this year and 2 guest dwarf does that need to get accustomed to visitors. Come out and love on them.
As you all know, the cost of feed has driven up the cost to feed chickens. Our eggs will be $7/dozen this year to keep up. Your purchase of animal feed helps us to keep them all fat and happy.
And back by popular demand, we will be selling tomato starts. Kevin and I started these several weeks ago and they are ready for your sunny window. The Farmer's Almanac says our last frost is April 1st but we think it's a little early to set them out still. Our plants are in the half gallon pots so you will get "maters sooner rather than later; $8 or 2 for $15. Let us know how many you need and we will set some aside for you.
Not in need of tomatoes or eggs, no worries, our doors will open to the general public, Saturday April 1st.
As always, no need to call ahead, we are home and ready for you! See you soon.
Look at all those babies!!!
Today is a day we celebrate being American and all that comes with it. I would particularly like to thank my husband, Kevin Courter, for his 21 years in the US Navy so we can celebrate our freedom today.
I hope you all have a blessed and safe 4th of July. And YES, we are open today so you can come on by with those out-of-town family members. #familyfarm #fourthofjuly #veteranowned
New bunnies were born last Sunday and will be moving to the petting zoo in a week or so. They are all doing great! You can still come visit them this weekend.
