We have so enjoyed being the backdrop for dozens of gorgeous and special family memories over the last five years. Sadly, that season is coming to an end. At least for the time being.

The last few weeks, we've been wrestling with some weighty decisions and finally come to the unfortunate conclusion that we must close down our venue for the foreseeable future. For the two years, we've been working closely with Kitsap County to finalize our venue permitting. Last week, we got our final compliance orders from the permitting office and they were significantly more extensive than what we expected. At this time, we aren't able to meet the county's requirements and will need to cease operating until such a time as we have the extra energy and capital available to comply with their permitting requirements.

We're so sorry that we won't be able to offer our services as a venue for your event, and wish you luck in your search,

Getting ready for a very special today! My cousin is marrying .hansoniii TOMORROW 🤩 and because it’s a family wedding we get to pull all the stops, everybody shows up, works together, and MAKES MAGIC. Just look at the staged up for tomorrow and making the perfect in-progress backdrop for the rehearsal dinner! 💜✨

Our website is getting a makeover! 💄

Now that we’re on the uphill climb out of the COVID era and weddings are happening again 🙌🏼, we figured it was time our website got a spruce up (link in bio). So far, it’s just a little change in the look and feel, but we’re wanting to add more tools, functionality, and information that will really help make their decision with confidence!

Today is another !! And I’ve been going back down memory lane 🤩 this shot is from our only wedding last summer. Destiny and Seth braved the COVID regulations so they could tie the knot without waiting another year, and their day was so beautiful! Today we ZOOMed through our first viritual tour for 2021 weddings! I shot this video of the Pavilion to send a specific bride (because our video feeds kept freezing when I tried to walk all the way down there), but it’s too long to send so I’m posting it here for everyone to enjoy and then I’ll share it with her.

Hopefully you like the up close view too!! And hopefully the beautiful clematis blossoms help cancel out all the off-season mess 😆🌸🌿

Today is Earth Day....there are so many small ways we can all contribute towards making an environmental impact. Locally grown is one of them. Whether it be the food or the flowers you put on your kitchen table- know your source. Don’t buy flowers that are out of season & flown thousands of miles. Enjoy the season you are in. Just one small way to help the environment. 🌎🌍🌏

In just about ONE WEEK we’ll have our first of the season, our first warm night full of love and conversation and good food under the lights of the pavilion. I truly love witnessing the creativity and togetherness of each wedding we host here, and I’m honored to play a small role in cultivating something so wonderful 💜

🏡 not technically included in the venue, but still at the center of it all... this is the house my dad designed and built when I was a kid, the house where most of my memories are, where I grew into myself. All the beauty on our family property radiates from this place, where it all started. And since everything is getting a nice spruce up for (including the front trim!), I thought the place that started it all should get a little 👋🏽 on social media. And if you look closely, you’ll even see a couple of tiny people on the ridgeline waving back! 💜
