The 🔍Curious Buddies had smashing good fun learning about the different types of Fossils and got to safely smash open their very own Geodes! The buddies wearing their safety glasses was just the (really cute) icing on top 😆 Thank you so very much, Miss Lisa! We all had a blast! Thank you to the big buddies for helping with cleanup 🩵🧡

The 🌱Budding Buddies enjoyed the gorgeous day together! They had storytime, learned and talked about insects, plants in the garden, and root structures down in the dirt. Then they went on a hunt for what they could find and drew their findings. Lastly, tons of fun playing together outside. Thank you so very much, Miss Sarah! Thank you to the big buddies for helping put away the art supplies 🩵🧡

What a creative and fun day with the 🎨Artsy Buddies! The wicked heat wave didn't stand in our way 😉 Bob Ross happy tress with Jackson Po***ck leaves. The buddies did such a great job with their Po***ck inspired paintings! We loved hearing all their ideas and what they thought about his work 🩵🧡

🔍 Curious Buddies - Geology Rocks! The buddies learned about some different types of rocks and minerals and how they form, classification of the types, chart matching, examination of the rocks and minerals using magnets and magnifying glasses, and did a fun rock dig. We all had a blast together! Thank you so very much, Miss Lisa! 🩵🧡

What a fun day with our 🎨 Artsy Buddies! Famous artist memory match game, treasure hunt, Buddy Batch photo keepsakes, Impressionist painting technique and memory keepsake box painting. Their paintings were awesome 🤩 Thank you to the big buddies who helped with cleanup 🩵🧡

Our Amber Moon 🌙 Buddy Ball was a night of pure joy had by all! Mimic dancing, sweet Big Buddy and Little Buddy dances, freeze dances, bubble dance, magic wand dance, great food and friends 💕 Thank you to our amazing photographer, Amanda Miles Photography for capturing this event and this joyous environment so skillfully. Your work is absolutely stunning! 🩵🧡

🎨Artsy Buddies: Time To Tie-Dye - Make sure to wash your white shirts prior to class (if they have not been previously washed) and arrive to class with a damp shirt. Miss Holly will have ziploc bags for you to take them home in as well as instructions for setting time, rinsing and washing them. 🩵🧡

Big Buddies - Miss Holly will have your makeup/toiletry bags all ready to go for you to join in the creativity and fun 😉

Surprise! 😉 This day was all about the love of mom 💕 The 🎨 Artsy Buddies had an awesome day getting creative and celebrating their amazing mamas! We learned how to draw a flower for a card for mom, made a gift of a dried flower glass window ornament for mom, and treated mom to cookies, cake and fruit refreshments 🩵🧡

Our Amber Moon 🌙 Buddy Ball is coming up soon! This enchanting homeschool outdoor dance will be an event to remember. Buddies will dance and play the night away together! We will play engaging dance games, pop bubbles, dance around with lightup wands, enjoy light refreshments, and of course you'll get the chance to have a memorable, sweet dance with your buddies! 💓 We have hired an amazing local photographer https://www.facebook.com/amandamilesphotography?mibextid=ZbWKwL
as a gift to the group and she will be taking family photos as well for any family who is interested! 🩵🧡

🌎 Reduce | Reuse | Recycle ♻️ - The 🔍 Curious Buddies did amazing with their Earth Day experiments! They got to pretend to be Earth Ninjas, Environmental Engineers and Marine Biologists all in one afternoon. Thank you so very much, Miss Lisa!! Thanks to the big buddies for helping clean up our big, fun mess we all made 😉🩵🧡

🎨Our special Artsy Buddies is coming up! The buddies will learn about puppetry and performance art! The first part will be for all of you to use your creativity and imaginations to make your very own hand puppet! Then we will transition to The Buddy Batch Broadway Theatre and play pretend! Our theatre will have a ticket station and concessions with cash registers to "sell" tickets, snacks and waters with pretend money. Any buddy who would like to participate as talent in the show, may simply volunteer! All other buddies can just sit back and enjoy the show!!😃 We can't wait to see all of your unique creations and play pretend with you!

Swim Buddies

💦Join the Swim Buddies at the Powhatan YMCA to swim and play starting in July! This activity is free for any buddy who has a YMCA membership.💦

Curious Buddies

🔍Calling all buddies who have a love of science or are curious about the world around them! Our volunteer engineer, Lisa Hayes, will be hosting these Curious Buddies activities once a month. We will meet at the Fighting Creek Park Pavilion in Powhatan. This is a free activity (supplies are provided) but there are only 8 spots available for each instance of this activity. Please PM us if you would like to partake in the fun! **Things may get messy, so please dress your buddy accordingly.** *Dates and times will be posted on our private Buddy Batch Facebook group page!

Artsy Buddies

The Poké Pack Pizza Social

⚡️WE CHOOSE YOU! Calling all buddies passionate about Pokémon! Our volunteer, Josh Fischer, will be hosting The Poké Pack activities once a month. Each activity includes lively Pokémon discussions, RP (role play) and Josh will also teach the buddies how to draw a different Pokémon character each time they meet! The Poké Pack Pizza Social will also include a buddy meet and greet and, you guessed it, some yummy pizza. This is a FREE activity! Dates and times will be posted on our Private Buddy Batch Facebook group page. **If you would like to be a volunteer and you have an idea for an activity that you would like host, just PM us with the details and we'll get everything else set up for you!**

Book Buddies

📚Calling all bookworm buddies who love to read and share! Our volunteer, Ciara Rogers, will be hosting these Book Buddies activities once a month on Friday afternoons! *Make sure your buddy brings an item for Show & Tell* Library location, dates and times will be posted on our Private Buddy Batch Facebook group page! **If you would like to be a volunteer and you have an idea for an activity that you would like host, just PM us with the details and we'll get everything else set up for you!**

Donut Miss This Playdate!

🍩Donut Miss This! Come play and munch on yummy donuts with your buddies. **Please PM us if you plan to attend so we can provide enough donuts for every buddy.** Rockwood Park at the Playground - 3401 Courthouse Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23236.
