Standing four stories,Washington County Milling Company was the longest used business structure in Prairie Grove, AR. The owner Marcus Nall has spent the last several years restoring and preserving this historical structure. The original equipment has been rescued and still stands as it did during the mills years of operation. Marcus had a dream to preserve a huge part of Washington County's histo
ry by keeping the mill in its original form. Erected in 1919 the mill was a hub of productivity. During its day, you would see records of 2,400,000 pounds of flour being milled and shipped out yearly. And, 60,000 bushels of wheat were shipped from its elevators each year. In the main hall used for events, Marcus has restored the original timbers used in the buildings construction. Their mass show the size of the virgin timbers our settlers must have found. With the goal to restore and keep the authenticity of the old mill, your event will carry a spirit of strength and soundness. We offer you the option of providing an in-house event coordinator (full service and/or event day) and/or photographer that is familiar with the center. The venue is also equipped to provide tables and chairs. (no extra charge)
Mondays and Tuesdays are reserved for maintenance when needed. Wednesday and Thursday are open for corporate and short event reservations. There is a separate building we have equipped to house the bride's party available to our weekend reservation. The event hall is nice and cool in the heat of the summer and warm in the winter. Any and all events on weekends are required to reserve Friday, Saturday with clean up on Sunday. Washington county milling company
