Scott Eaker took first place with his pork and sweet potato chili, while Cole Brown took second with bison maple whiskey chili.

We're so lucky to have some marvelous folks on our team and we want to give a special shout out to them. We'll start with Kisha Santiago, who has been working with us for about four months as a kitchen assistant/dishwasher. She's industrious, responsible, and takes great care in making sure that she completes tasks thoroughly and precisely. Best of all, she's got a great personality, a dry sense of humor, and is always a pleasure to be around. She faces challenges with a smile and gusto, and we're so fortunate to have her on the team. Kisha made us promise not to post a picture of her, so here's a pic of clean plates. We have no idea how many loads of dishes Kisha has done, but it's an impressive feat. It's often a thankless job that goes unnoticed by most folks. But this place wouldn't run without her and we really are so thankful for all that she does and brings to our team! Thanks, Kisha!!

We are stop number 5 on the Sauk Prairie Sweet Treat Walk today!

We will be open at 10 for those participating, with our bar and hot drinks available. Our kitchen is open for lunch at 11.

If you have not gotten your Sweet Treat tickets yet, you can purchase them at at Brunker Realty across the street from us, Vintage Sweets & Gift Shoppe, or Serenity Art Gallery.

Today is set to be a beautiful day, so come out to support a great local foundation and enjoy some yummy treats along the way!
