this will be at the storied residency and community space , which is also a coffeeshop, lending library, sculpture garden, pop-up cafe, and ever-evolving sanctuary for all that is wild and lovely

show up at 6:30 for a sumptuous spread by chef vadim, cooking classic east european cuisine: tarts with meat, mushroom, or veggies and sautéed pear salad with blue cheese and walnuts. suggested donation $5-20 per person, but no one turned away for lack of funds.

In this workshop, we will explore through guided meditation, reading poetry from world known poets from the East & West: Matsuo Basho, January Gill O’Neil, Marilyn Chin, Bruce Weigl, Emily Jungmin Yoon, Paul Lawrence Dunbar and others to serve as inspiration for your own writing and discovery of which activities of Autumn you can embrace based on the colors that attract you. Happy Fall Y’All! Join us for a classic East European lunch Saturday 9/28 & Sunday 9/29 from 1-4. Our chef is preparing an amazing hot borscht to celebrate the season plus poached pear and blue cheese salad, and maybe the best home roasted espresso in the Catskills. The Prattsville Art Center Cafe is at 14562 Main St. Community Meals support our free programs and are offered with a suggested donation of $5-$25 per meal. Espresso is pay what you wish. Kathleen Scanlon of NY Connects will be meeting folks individually on the last Friday of each month to help you solve all kinds of problems and connect you to services from long term care to mobile food pantry sign ups, from weatherization to addiction recovery, domestic violence, and disability services.

Join us this weekend at the new Prattsville Art Center Cafe, featuring Eastern European specialties made to order. This week our chef will be making French style roast pork with tomatoes and onions, and a vegetable stew. All purchases support our free programs for the community. The cafe is Pay What You Can, with a suggested donation $8-$15 per entree. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Lunch from 1-5 pm. Saturday and Sunday, with espresso starting t 11:00 we will be open for dinner during events.

Sunday we will host a signing for Lynn Loflin’s new cookbook, Folk Food, and a closing party for the exhibition, Panta Rhei (everything changes) featuring artists from the “ad hoc” Art collective.
