I love that I get to make lasting relationships with my clients. On 11.11.11 we planned a fantastic wedding for Alex and Joy Heinemann and now we have the honor to plan a ba-BEE shower for their soon to arrive BEE-utiful little girl Emma Joy. And if you are wondering about the themed the Mommy-to-BEE chose it is the flight if the bumble bee. My imagination is going crazy with all the ideas. It will be an event to remember with all the special touches that are in store.

QUICK TIP OF THE WEEK: It's all about the invitations this time. Seems simple enough to address an envelope...NOPE! Here are a few of the basic rules to addressing your invitations and return envelopes properly.
-NEVER abbriviate; P.O. Box- Post Office Box; Apt- apartment
St.- Street; AZ- Arizona... You get the idea
-Spell out house numbers smaller than twenty as well
-Guests with titles always appear first; Doctor and Mrs. or Doctor and Mr.
-If they both have titles the woman is first; Doctor Joan Mitchell and Captain Steven Mitchell U.S. Navy
-If the lady has kept her maiden name or they are not married the lady always comes first; Ms. Lauren Sands and Mr. Gregg Jones
-do not put and family; if you are including children at your event write out each of their names. Any child that is not ivited (due to age usually) is not added on the invitations.

It is easy as that!

QUICK TIP OF THE WEEK: Well since they are a girl's best friend I thought we would talk about diamonds! Most important when shopping for a ring you want to only go to reputable jewelers. Go to several shops and ask to see stones from various colors and grades this way you become a little more familiar with what to look for. TAKE NOTES on the GIA. This is the color and clarity grade of the stone. Remember the greater the color in the stone the LOWER the value (except of course in colored diamonds). When deciding on the clarity look for the light reflected through the stone. The more light that reflects the less the amount of flaws the stone has making it a better value!
That was our quick tip this week. Hoped it helps when picking out the most precious piece of jewelery you will ever have.
