With end of summer🌻 and early fall🍁 wedding planning in full swing, I've been getting this question quite a bit: "If I have a venue coordinator, do I need an event planner?" Well, ️I'm so glad you asked!✨️

In a nutshell...venue coordinators help with the basic logistics at your venue: think setting up tables and chairs, fulfilling any requirements of your banquet event order, making sure the food is out on time, and take down of venue rentals at the end of the night. They might help place decor, but they won't create or style it for you, or help coordinate your vendors and broader wedding/ bridal party logistics.

In contrast, Hometown Hostess manages ALL the details, for every player in your big day including event vendors, your venue, family members and friends. I can also help with budgeting, creative design, florals and styling of your event. I'm there from start to finish and always available to meet your needs. Venue coordinators are great but it's important to understand what they can't or won't do when it comes to your special day.

A cheerful, sunny, sunflowers & cowgirl boots theme was just the ticket for this 18th birthday celebration on a gloomy monsoon day this past weekend!🌞🌻🤠
Line dancing, BBQ, and a movie under the stars once the skies cleared made for a memorable and uniquely Arizonan party! In addition to designing a boho-cowgirl birthday cake, Hometown Hostess also created sunflower arrangements and used vibrant linens and rustic accents to create this fun and versatile partyscape! ✨️🌻🎂😊

A beautiful wedding for an amazing couple! Working with Anthony and Paige the past couple of months has been a delight. They truly are one of the sweetest, most genuine couples I've had in years!✨️

Ceremony decor was kept simple yet elegant to allow the classic architecture of the historic Railway Bridge to shine. I was honored to create a lovely rememberance bouquet in memory of the Bride's mother Linda, who just loved flamingos! Soft touches of pink roses, and cascading wisteria graced her reserved chair, delicately draped in chantily lace. The cocktail hour centerpieces were also in honor of the mother of the Bride, with fancy flamingos wearing bow ties set against white orchids.🦩

The reception decor was classic and stately with red roses in whiskey tinted amber vases, lanterns and candelabras. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Horn! Thank you for choosing Hometown Hostess and entrusting me and my team with your special day, and thank you to the talented vendors who were so easy to collaborate with!💗

It was take your gorgeous apprentice to work day!✨️ Sophie Brandt assisted me and my company at her first wedding rehearsal today! She did great and took lots of notes in preparation for our amazing clients' big day on Friday! I'm really enjoying having her work alongside me this summer...and possibly beyond! 💓

And just like that, the 2024 Graduation Season is a wrap! Hometown Hostess had the honor of producing the first annual Yavapai County Homeschool Commencement Ceremony! This year, families gathered to honor 7 amazing young adults and celebrate their achievements in the completion of their high school careers. My beautiful daughter was among them, graduating summa cm laude, and making this event extra special!

Thank you to all the amazing families I had the pleasure of working with, including Maggie Jones, who partnered with me to get this event launched, hopefully for many years to come! Special thanks to our volunteers and Canyon Bible Church for hosting us!

Hometown Hostess has been busy behind the scenes creating custom decor and styling this Cherry Blossom Beauty for a very special young lady's 13th Suprise Birthday party! 🤭Not to worry, I of course, waited until the big reveal to share!💓

I was inspired by her love of anime, Asian culture,
whimsical style, and the idea of blooming in the spring!
I created a beautiful photo backdrop and balloon arch in shades of pink and gold, adorned with lit cherry blossom garlands and origami cranes woven throughout. I also styled a fun focal point over her cake table with paper fans seemingly suspended in mid-air and more origami cranes "taking flight" overhead! A couple of fun centerpieces to frame her gorgeous cake made by the amazingly talented Sweet Confections by Kim !👏 Special thanks to my beautiful daughter and summer apprentice Sophie Brandt for doing a great job assisting me today!

Happy Mother's Day Lovelies! I hope your special day is filled with love and that each mama and mother figure feels cherished and appreciated!

Hometown Hostess had the pleasure of celebrating these beautiful mothers Saturday morning at a private Mother's Day Tea where they each created my "Mother's Garden-Love Grows Here" birth flower bouquet art in watercolor! It was such a lovely morning, and I loved all the beautiful conversations about our children, motherhood, and the joy it has brought to our lives! I hope these special custom keepsakes will be enjoyed for many years to come!

Hometown Hostess had the privilege of once again styling the AHC Yavapai County Prom! The Phantom of the Opera theme was so fun to work with! Opulent candelabra centerpieces, dripping with rich, red roses, masquerade masks, and the focal point of the evening, the chandelier arch installation! I also created a romantic baloon arch for the photographer's formal photo station! Thanks to for the opportunity to collaborate and bring "Phantom" to life for these amazing students!
This year was extra special because it was also my daughter's Senior Prom, so a lot of love went into every detail!🥹I'm already looking forward to next year!🎭🎓✨️

Another beautiful Saturday spent in Downtown Prescott for Hometown Hostess' 🌻"Mom's Garden-Love Grows Here"💐: A Watercolor Workshop at the delightful ! For this special Mother's Day themed workshop, I created custom birth month flower bouquet sketches with the flowers for each participant's family, and we then colorized them with watercolor pencils and paint brushes!🖌💐

Each piece turned out so lovely and unique and is a reflection of the love and beauty that moms and grandmas bring to our lives! I hope you ladies will enjoy these keepsakes for many years to come! It was a beautiful day for a South Western Boho Birthday Picnic & "Mysteries of Prescott’s History" Scavenger Hunt at the iconic Courthouse Square here in everybody's hometown! 🌱🤠🌻

Brenna wanted to integrate her boho aesthetic with rustic western elements. Hometown Hostess styled a cozy charcuterie picnic with cowboy flare and created an interactive scavenger hunt that incorporated many of the historical monuments and figures around the Square.
I loved working with Brenna and her family to make her 15th birthday celebration everything she wished for!
