I grew up in the same household as my uncle in Texas during the 70’s and 80’s.
My first experience of music was his collection of Beatles 45 records.
Because I was raised by my grandparents he became my surrogate big brother. He took me for my first motorcycle ride and to see the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark among others - all the great classics that came out in the 70’s and early 80’s. He also first introduced me to Mexican food at Monterrey House Mexican restaurant in Houston, TX. My taste in food & music was heavily influenced by him. When I was 16 he gave my first car, a Volkswagen Jetta. He has always been there for me my whole life.

He had a terrible accident in Oklahoma and isn’t going to be able to return home without special transportation, which costs around 30k.
