In case you missed it, the Stihl Canadian Championship recently took place in British Columbia! The competition saw Ben Chamberland taking the win, with Marcel Dupuis coming in second. Both of these lumberjacks were earlier at the Northern Maine Fair's Lumberjack Roundup earlier this month.

Out of the 24 competitors who took part in the championship, 8 participated in the Lumberjack Roundup this year. This is a testament to the high caliber of talent at the fair. Make plans now to attend the 2025 Lumberjack Roundup at the Northern Maine Fair, where you can witness some of the best lumberjacks in action!

The Fair may be over but it’s still exciting to see the Fairground’s come to life! Tonight it’s The Mallett Brothers Band! The Mallett Brothers Band, performs with Dan Rooney, doors open at 5:30! Up next the Crown of Maine Balloon Fest!

As we close the books on the 2024 season we can’t help but pause and remember those we lost this year. Here’s hoping Roger and Barry know their wives did them proud this year, we’re taking care of them! It’s bitter, sweet knowing we never know what the year will bring. The fair really becomes family!
